>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 8.30.10

>You will keep Him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3

Pray
Father, Thank You for peace today. Not any peace, but perfect peace that only You can provide. I receive it as a comforting blanket for my heart, my mind, my spirit and my soul.

I choose to focus on Your word today and not my fears. Rid me of doubts about others You have placed in my life. Rid me of self-doubt that haunts me and hinders my growth. Direct my steps, guide and guard me with Your peace Father. In Your son Jesus’ name Amen.

Reflection
Do what God wants and receive all the blessings He has waiting for you. Welcome the peace within. Breathe in the simplicity of life as He has created it. Submit yourself to Him and the chaos you have and are sinking in will cease to exist.

Who wants to walk with me?

Love you all,

Natasha

>For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

No man hath seen God at any time…
St. John 1:17-18

Prayer
Having faith in You Father do I believe in Your omnipresence, omnipotence, and omniscience. Never seeing You only feeling Your constant care and guidance, do I pray for continued faith that no matter what trials that I may face now or in the future, that You always show me even in small ways that through Your truth and grace that all is well and will be well. Amen.

Reflection
God sent Moses and Jesus to deliver the foundation for our livelihood, survival, and growth of His kingdom. He sent many men and women to help remind us of His greatness and the many ways that our heavenly Father protects and guides us.

We have the laws; we are equipped to seek, find, and know the Truth; and be filled with and reflect His grace. Are we doing our part as His stewards? Think about it.

Love,

Natasha

>From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after
another.
John 1:16

Pray
Father, I choose to receive Your grace today, as You empower, guide and
teach me. I release my guilt and condemnation, and receive Your love and
forgiveness. Wash me clean and warm my heart that I may guiltlessly open
my arms to receive Your blessings for me. Amen.

Reflection
God favored me, in spite of my enemies. Our blessings keep coming in and
as we free ourselves from guilt and shame, and realize that God has
ALREADY forgiven us for our sins then we will clearly see the numerous
blessings flowing in.

If we spend our time self-inflicting pain and punishing ourselves;
putting the stakes in our hands and feet, whipping ourselves…we
overlook the gifts God has for us. Stop thinking you know God’s Mind and
focus on loving Him and doing good towards His children and yourself.

Love you all,

Natasha

>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 8.26.10

>For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
St. Luke 6:43

Prayer
Father You know the person You created, the person I am and the person I will be in the future. Let the fruit I bring forth help feed those in need and help grow Your Kingdom. Amen.

Reflection
Focus on being good by doing good. We may do something(s) that are “bad” but it doesn’t make us a bad person.

We must simply focus on remembering who and what we are as God’s children and work at constantly and consistently bettering ourselves.

Remember that the two most important commandments are to love God with all of our heart, mind, body and soul; and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.

>

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

She seeks wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

She is like the merchants’ ships; she brings her food from afar.

Proverbs 31:10-14

Prayer
Father let Your sons grow worthy enough to find virtuous women and let your daughters grow to be these good, honorable women. Let us not rely on worldly views as to what’s acceptable or appropriate, but turn us to Your vision Lord. I humbly pray for You to cleanse me of my transgressions and uplift me to my proper place. Amen

Reflection
Today I picked up my Bible and said “wherever it opens and my eyes are drawn to, I will do today’s message”. Amazing how God is always working on and through us. But we must be open and honest to grow.

Love,

Natasha

>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 8.22.10

>And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

II Kings 6:16-17

Pray
Father, open my eyes when I don’t see; when fear, doubt, pride, ego and anything not of You clouds my thinking where I see what I think I see.

When I think I’m outnumbered like the Syrian army and Elisha prayed for their eyes to be opened, show me Lord what I’m supposed to see about every person and every situation.

Humbly I say thank You in advance for this vision. Amen.

Reflection
Elisha could see God’s protection, plan, and path; but Elisha’s servant and the Syrian army were blind to the reality. Are you seeing the big picture and all the details? Ask God!

>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 8.21.10

>And Elisha sent a messenger to him saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and your flesh will return to you, and you will be clean….

But Naaman was angry and went away…

And his servants came and said to him, My father, if the prophet had bid you do some great thing, would you have not done it? How much rather then, when he says to you, Wash, and be clean?

Then he went down, and dipped himself seven times…and his flesh came again like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
II Kings 5:10,11,13,14

Prayer
Father, cleanse me from my inflictions. Open my mind, eyes and heart that whatever messenger You send to deliver me that I am receptive to them. Amen.

Reflection
Pray to the Lord for openness to take in all messages as loving and guiding; rather than be closed and defensive- missing out on your blessings. Just because you don’t understand doesn’t mean it’s the wrong message.

Love,

Natasha

>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 8.20.10

>And Elisha said unto her…what has thou in the house? And she said, nothing but a pot of oil. Then he said, Go all over and borrow vessels from all your neighbors, even empty vessels…and pour oil into them and put aside the full ones….And it came to pass, when the vessels were full that she told her son bring me a vessel. And he said there are no more. Then she told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay your debt, and you and your children keep the rest.  II Kings 4:2-4,6,7

Prayer
Father, as Elisha increased this widow’s oil I pray that whatever known/unknown resource that I possess, You show me how to make use of it so that I may provide for myself and my family. As the widow did not question Elisha, I promise not to question or doubt Your (or Your servant’s) directions. Amen.

Reflection
We must be humble to see and willing to follow precisely what has been instructed of us.

Love,

Natasha

>Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11

Pray
Father, thank You for Your grace and favor on my life today. I know You have a fresh supply of everything that I need physically, spiritually, and emotionally today. Help me trust You more as I seek Your guiding light. I’m praying for more faith because I know that it displeases You when I don’t simply believe in You. Give me strength Father. Amen.

Reflection
Every day God provides for you. Both little and big, obvious and not so obvious. Be sure that when you do ask for blessings that you have your baskets ready to be filled with God’s bread!

>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 8.18.10

>The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day. Proverbs 4:18

Pray
Father, I know that You have a wonderful plan and purpose for me. I desire to be right and do right by You. I know that this is a constant struggle as I have to keep my mind and heart focused on You and Your commands, not the temptations of the world.

Show me Your ways and teach me to walk righteously before You. Keep my heart warm, and be the beacon of light to guide me down the right paths. Amen.

Reflection
Today, just as yesterday is a struggle to always do and say right, when life seemingly would be easier if we just did and said what we felt the moment we felt it.

We must be disciplined to listen to the small voice that guides and warns us; not the loud voice that tells us “just do it already”.

Before we speak we should pray for loving words.

Love you all!

>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 8.17.10

>Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it the issues springs life.
Proverbs 4:23

Pray
Father, thank You for giving me peace through any situation I might face. Thank You for the Word that turns any mess into a miracle; that lifts one up when we’re down, gives us hope when in doubt. I will praise so I can be raised. I Love You Father. In Jesus’ name Amen.

Reflection
When times gets rough we show our true self to the world. How do you respond during turmoil? Do you let it drag you down to your lowest depths or do you grab ahold of something and fight your way back to the top?

How are you in relationships? Are you putting God 1st or do you think of your perceived wants and needs first? If your heart is not warmed by and for God then you struggle to forgive, let go of past issues, move forward, and grow.

Today won’t you take that step towards faith that God as your protector has you?

>Welcome…Are you Ready to Break Bread with Me?

>Today is my first day sharing inspirational messages with the world. I’m not here to preach, pass judgment, convert, recruit, highlight a church or religious leader. I’m simply sharing words of love and peace inspired by the word of the Bible.

There will be no advertising, soliciting, promoting, or the like on this blog. I welcome your loving and kind insight and reflection. We are not gathered here to debate, argue, point fingers, take sides, or smack the mess out of our Bibles. The Bible can be used for good and evil, to spread love or hate, lift people up or tear them down, free or enslave, punish or condone, instill hope or stir up fear and doubt.

All comments are moderated and will not be posted if they don’t express love, goodness, kindness, respect and acceptance for all mankind; tolerance, understanding, dignity for all, and hope for a better world where we’re all embraced as brothers and sisters despite our differences.

Since I have been sharing my daily messages for well over a year now, I will find a creative way to post those archival messages for those of you interested in reading and sharing them. Any time a friend or family member sends me a great scripture, I love to read it and then from there I allow my prayer to flow as I type, ending the message with a deep reflection. I don’t go for length, I go for depth. It’s about me connecting with something greater, more powerful, and wiser than myself. God knows my heart and that’s all that really matters to me. If you get something from the message then we both received an extra blessing that day.

My next post will be “Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection” for today. I hope it touches your heart and moves you to be your loving self with those you adore as well as the stranger walking by you on the street or standing next to you in the elevator. It’s as simple as smiling, holding a door, saying “thank you”, or letting someone go ahead of you. Let’s see how much love and respect we can share today. Want to join me?

Warmest wishes and hugs,

Natasha

>The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house, says  the LORD almighty and in this place I will grant you peace.
Haggai 2:9

Pray
Father, thank You for being a God of increase, as I prepare my heart and mind to receive the increase and blessings You have in store for me.

I surrender every area of my mind, will and emotion as I wait on You. What I had in my past will be overshadowed by what You are delivering to me present day. I thank You. Amen.

Reflection
Wait on the Lord, and He will come through. Your past possessions and relationships do not compare to what He is providing and molding You for today.

Open your arms and receive your blessings; knowing that you deserve them because God is giving them to you. He will never give you what He has in store for someone else, and vice versa. Rejoice and testify in His name!

Pray for me as I pray for you
Love you

>For we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

Pray
Father, thank You for setting me free. I release my faith to You knowing old things are passed away and You will make old things new things. Release me of past hurt for today I am to be present with You and free from yesterday.

I receive a new beginning today and a fresh new vision for my life. Thank You for directing and ordering my steps as only You could. I bless and praise You today and always. Amen.

Reflection
Expect good things to come your way. Expect God to handle all of your needs, knowing that your issues were not a surprise to Him as they were for You. God has huge plans for each of us, it is what we do each day that determines whether or not we seize the opportunities or let them squander. Are you ready to continue receiving God’s blessings?

Pray
Father, thank You for loving me. Thank You for choosing me. Thank You for placing me in the right place for my provision to show up. Thank You for giving me grace and my peace of mind.  Remove my fear so that it won’t  steal the destiny You have planned.  Amen.

Reflection
Let Go and Let God. Wait for Him.

>Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:1-2

Pray
Father, I humbly come to You giving You all that I am. I choose to keep my eyes on You and allow You to work in my heart and mind.

I declare that I am free from competition today, relinquishing my desire to find and make my own way- when all I need to do is follow Yours.

I thank You for your continued patience and love because I know that this clay You are molding can be difficult at times. I love you Lord. Amen.

Reflection
We must remember to keep God first in our lives. No decisions should be made until after we’ve prayed, sought guidance, and reflected.

Instead we’re quick to not be beat in competition for proving our “rightness” in a situation.

The only thing right is God’s Word. If we don’t incorporate It in our lives we’ll always be wrong!

Love you all
