>All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.
Psalm 139:16

Pray
Father God, today I humbly come to You giving You thanks for all Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I trust that Your plans for me are good, and I choose to turn the page of the past by choosing Your way which means to be present in the day-to-day, and hopeful for the future.

I forgive and release those who have wronged me so I can move forward in the next chapter You have for me. I embrace the role You have chosen for me and I accept the responsibility that comes with my position. In Jesus' name Amen.

Reflection
As my friend Kenya said today,
"Happy Monday Family. Keep believing, Keep Hoping, Keep Forgiving". Let me add to that by saying, keep thanking God for your daily experiences- even the difficult ones because they only make us stronger, braver, wiser, and give us the opportunity to be closer to Him.

Today is the last day of February. Make it count!

Love you all!

>For we live by faith, not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7

Pray
Father today my faith is being truly tested. I am tested to believe that You are here, protecting, watching, healing, helping, waiting, directing, and leading me. I am tested to believe that You are taking care of me and my needs, and those people that I love and cherish the most. Father it is not what I see that matters; that is not what faith requires- it is just knowing and believing- it is the unknowns in life that require me to believe in You, Your grace and power. I turn all over to You Father. Amen.

Reflection

Let's discuss FAITH right now. Not fear, not doubt, not anger, not confusion, not cynicism…just faith. Faith that God is protecting us and is there for us and our loved ones always. Faith.

Our God of today is no different from God of the past.

Today I pray to God that He comforts those in need. I pray that He sees them through these challenges and heals them 100% from their inflictions. I know that God is here always. Faith!

Loving you all

>….But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

1 Corinthians 12:24-26

Pray
Father thank You for my body. Thank You for my working limbs and functioning organs. Thank You for my muscles and curves that support my frame. Each part of my body must be taken care of as they rely upon each other. When I neglect any area I have neglected the whole. This is no different than when I only partially commit to You; I am not getting the full return on my investment.

Father I don't want to neglect my body or You. I don't want to have a conditional relationship with You Lord. I don't want to be partially committed to You. I don't want to randomly take care of my body that You have blessed me with- because tomorrow a vital organ or part may have limited or no use and at that point I would cry out to You to heal and repair me- when I hadn't thought about taking care of it all of these years.

I want to start having a healthy relationship with my body today, not taking it for granted, and not taking You for granted. Thank You Father. Amen.

Reflection
What you neglect to care for today may be gone or damaged tomorrow. Take the time to honor your entire body every single day. Stick out your tongue, blink your eyes, wiggle your fingers and toes, and smile. Look in the mirror and flash those pearly whites and say, "thank You Father". Rotate your head in every direction and inhale. Stretch to the heavens and exhale. Stretch to the ground God made, touch your ankles and feet, and smile. Stretch as you turn your waist to the east and the west, and feel your body move.

Take a brisk walk or jog; cycle or jump rope for at least 30 minutes four times per week. Nourish your body with clean, whole, organic foods and drinks. Show God how grateful you are to have this incredible vessel we call a body. Show God how honored and humble you are that He gave you life. Then rejoice!

Embrace this incredible Monday!

Love,

Natasha

>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 2.20.11

>For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Matthew 6:14

Pray
Father today I must let go and forgive those who have sinned against me. I cannot ask for Your forgiveness if I can't forgive others. I have to accept the fact that You will always settle my grievances, You will always right the wrongs done against me, and You will always bring light into dark places and spaces. I thank You Father. In Your name I pray. Amen.

Reflection
We must stop carrying around anger, resentment, bitterness, sadness, jealousy and envy. We must let go and turn our cares and troubles over to our heavenly Father. We must learn and begin to forgive. Today I heard an incredible sermon by the great Ambassador Andrew Young that he gave at Union Institutional Baptist Church this morning. He spoke about forgiveness and it struck a chord with me because I had been contemplating a situation for some time now, and a few days ago the intensity increased exponentially- and I was trying to decide how to handle it…

Ambassador Young said we have to forgive in order to receive forgiveness; and he reminded me of something that I have said plenty of times before, "that person you're mad at probably doesn't even know you're mad at them or why…they are too busy dealing with their own issues". We are carrying around extra weight on our shoulders that we don't need to carry. This added weight causes stress and our bodies react negatively to too much stress. Today I take that step to forgive someone who has wronged me, but may not even realize that I know or how much it truly affected me.

Let's let go people.

Loving you always,

Natasha

>In you, lord my God, I put my trust.

Psalm 25:1

Pray
Father when I can't put my trust in man I know that I can always trust in You. When man has betrayed me and caused me to question their honor, loyalty, and truthfulness I know that You will never fail me and let me down; I know that You will never lie, deceive, mistreat, or hide anything from me. I know that in You Lord the truth is always revealed and for those reasons and more I humbly and always will follow and bless Your holy name. Amen.

Reflection
There is no other truth, reality, comfort, or source of reliance except our heavenly Father. Trust in Him and put everything else to the side.
When you doubt someone close to you, trust that God will always reveal the truth and bring you out of harm's way. When you doubt your ability to accomplish or overcome something, trust that the Lord is there to help you.

Love,

>He also told them this parable: "Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit?" The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.

Luke 6:39-40

Pray
Father I have grown through my walk to realize that You regularly send people to teach, show, and guide me through life's lessons. It is when I turn a blind eye or choose to walk alongside someone else who is equally or less knowledgeable that I stumble and fall. Jesus provided us with instruction from You Lord, and I pray that I might study and learn the correct steps to take in the correct ways, as You see fit. I humble myself before You Father. I open my eyes to see who You send my way. I open my ears to hear Your voice. Amen.

Reflection
We must follow the instructions and map left by our savior Jesus Christ, that we might find our way back to righteousness; that we might be saved. We can't keep trying to do it ourselves thinking that God birthed us to figure it out alone. This is not our mission, this is not our purpose, this is not our fight- this is God's and we are His servants, ambassadors, and stewards- and we are supposed to be devoted and committed to Him and His kingdom. We can't get where we need to go until we have mastered the lessons He is teaching us on a daily basis.

Enjoy your Wednesday and God bless you all!

Love,

Natasha

>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 2.15.11

>Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet has thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

John 14:6, 8-10

Pray
Father if there is any doubt in me as to Your realness, Your presence, Your power, Your influence over my life and the world- I want it removed now. You know my heart Lord. If I believe in Your son then how can I not believe in You? If I believe in You then I must believe that You sent Your son to save us; that we did not truly believe, listen and follow You those years before Christ's presence- and You sent him to free us of the shackles we placed upon ourselves.

Father we are still enslaved. We are still not fully committed and vested in Your plan. We are still easily manipulated by the "liar" and I know that I want the mania and chaos in my life to end. I want to taste the sweet fruits provided by You, I want to drink the pure water from You, I want to walk in righteousness and not in sin Father. Cleanse me Lord. I call to You and Your son to guide me, redirect me, and to help me reflect You all the days of my life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Reflection
Until we believe we cannot truly have faith. Until we have faith we cannot truly experience what God has planned for us. Until we are true believers in faith, walking and living in faith we are merely lost sheep awaiting our shepherd. We will go round and round in circles going no where fast- lost in a wilderness. Four days is too long to be wandering through a forest without a sense of direction; consider 40 years, now consider your lifetime. We all have choices.

Love,

Natasha

>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 2.14.11

>For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

John 12:43,44,47,49,50 (KJV)

Pray
Father there is no other that I place before You, that I rely upon first, that I praise or worship, that I lean on, or that I talk to first but You. I hear Your voice directing me daily and You have given me the choice to listen and follow, or to ignore You and do my own thing. You sent Your son to us to save us from ourselves and from the “liar” who would have us to believe that we can be like You and have power and glory equal to Yours.

I know that forever You will reign over the world and beyond; that there is nothing good that has been created that was not created by You. Every device and application that has been created to help and save mankind and every creature on land, in water, or in the air, was created first by You and shared as a blessing to those who made it possible in the physical form.

We are Your perfect reflections attempting to regain our sense of self in You Father. We have stumbled, fallen, and now we struggle to reclaim who we are in, of, and through You. We have leaned more on man’s understanding than Your Word and Jesus’ teachings of Your Word; we have relied upon and imitated man more than You. We desire the things of the flesh more than we do of You. For those things Father I ask for forgiveness. I want to walk always in Your light. In Your name I pray for strength, faith, and dignity each and every day. Amen.

Reflection
We must put our faith, understanding, and reliance upon God and not man. Man is flawed just as we are; the perfect example of where we ought to be is Jesus- who had evolved and transformed as God intended. Even in his last days when he cried out in a moment of fear and doubt, God comforted him with a still calm that let him know that all was well and would be dealt with the right way at the right time- that His plan was to be fulfilled- and with that Jesus leaned unto God’s understanding and thereby demonstrated life after human death, and that we all are spiritual beings working towards a life beyond this level of existence.

Jesus, unlike any other man or woman God directed to save us, was sent before birth- not chosen late in life- so from conception Jesus had an order and mission as the perfect example of God to save God’s children and to show them the way back ‘home’ to His loving presence.

We too must listen for God’s voice to comfort, protect, and guide us (and His angels that He sends to lead us along our paths)- and not worldly vices such as alcohol, sex, drugs (even prescription), idols, the media, clothing, and money. We must put our faith in something we cannot see but we know we can feel each and every day. Do you have that faith?

Can you turn to God to heal your pain? Or do you give in to the “liar’s” whispers that tell you that bottle of wine or liquor is your best solution to numb the pain? Do you turn to God when you are lonely, or do you hide your head in the bosom of the temptress/tempter who has seduced you and lured you into their bed?

We have choices. You just have to decide if you are following God or the “liar”.

I love you all. Have a safe and happy Valentine’s Day!

Love,

Natasha

>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 2.13.11

>Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Colossians 4:2

Pray
Father every day throughout my day I want to stop and pray to You, to give thanks to You, and to connect with You. In my prayers I deepen my understanding of my purpose and Your guidance over me. Through my prayers my eyes are opened wider and my ears are more alert, I am able to discern more because through Your patience and care I have been exposed to Your truths- and the more I believe, the more I receive. Thank You Father. Amen.

Reflection
Prayer should not be casual nor should it be for show; but rather purposeful as your dedication to taking this spiritual walk with our Father and His son. Prayer is another sign of your devotion to God, Jesus, and the Kingdom that you are an ambassador of and for- and that you are helping to build.

Take several moments throughout your day to pray, reflect, show thanks and appreciation, and to give back to our heavenly Father. Don't just use prayer as a time to express a form of conditional love, where you are only asking for something and only thankful when you receive His blessings.

Lovingly,

Natasha

>She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.

Proverbs 31:25

Pray
Father thank You for the strength and wisdom that guides me daily. Thank You for encircling me with love. With You I am clothed in strength and dignity; able to raise my head and walk upright, tall and confident. My belief in You and Your greatness builds my faith in You and in myself. Let me laugh at whatever the future may bring knowing that no matter what You will be right there guiding and protecting me. Father I pray to be as virtuous as depicted in this proverb. In Your name I pray. Amen.

Reflection
You are truly whole and complete when you get to the point where you are fearless, doubtless, and fully confident in God's ability to see you through anything and everything that the future throws your way. Awesome isn't it? Think about never fearing losing your wealth, home, car, or anything you worked hard to earn that God gave you. Wouldn't that be an amazing feeling and experience? Pray for it. Then believe it!

>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 2.8.11

>As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

1 Peter 2:16 (KJV)

Pray
Father thank You for freeing my ancestors and thank You for freeing me every time I allow myself to be shackled to fear and doubt, and to circumstances. Father thank You for freeing my mind and heart that I might have discernment and see the truth in people, and a warmed heart that I might love Your children even when they don’t express love in return; and in this freedom my mind and heart is always to be focused on You first- waiting for Your guidance.

Father I never want to deceive You Lord; I never want to deceive others. I only want honesty in my life and in moments when I am swayed by the enemy to not be open, upfront, honest, and forthcoming with myself and others- stop me Father and redirect my path. Father there is no such thing as being honorable when you are only honest and loving to a few, yet tell lies to (and treat harshly) others.

I want to always be loving and honest Father, even if in my honesty it hurts someone’s feelings- that is temporal- because lying to them could cause permanent harm that I truly do not want to inflict. Show me how to always be loving and honest Father. In Your name I pray. Amen.

Reflection
We are free people given the right to make decisions in our lives. We can either choose a life of dishonesty, deceit, maliciousness, and hate; or we can choose to live in God’s loving light. There is no reason to lie to or mistreat another person ever. There is no reason to live a life of deceit. You can’t be honest with one person about a situation and then tell another person a lie about the same situation- you are still a liar, and are then working towards the enemy’s plan, not God’s. It is better to be honest and they despise you for a short time than to lie to them and they spend the rest of their lives seeking revenge.

If in your honesty they still seek the latter- then you are still blessed in knowing the true character of that person; that they don’t seek the truth, they only seek what will make them feel and look good…they are then walking in the lies of the enemy and have no desire to walk and live by God’s truth. By telling them the truth and not allowing either of you to live in the lie you have been blessed by God. Thank Him.

Love,

>Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 2.6.11

>Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

Pray
God I want to thank You for teaching me early on that even though our body as a shell will one day no longer function, we continue to live with Him and His son on another level of existence; and when our loved ones pass we may not see them in our daily lives but they are with us in Spirit, and one day we will be reunited.

Father even though I sometimes mourn the passing of a loved one, and miss them dearly, You comfort me by allowing me to remember them and the moments I shared with them- showing me that through You and in me they are truly alive. If they weren’t, the memories would be wiped clean. Thank You Father. Amen.

Reflection
Every day we must smile and say thank you when a fond memory of a loved one pops into our mind. Don’t call it coincidence- that’s God. Don’t call it freakish when you can sense that person’s presence- that’s God sharing them with you once more. These moments serve as reminders that our loved ones are always with us. Those feelings of their presence are their Spiritual hugs of love. Embrace them and thank God for the opportunity.

I love you all,

>The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

1 Corinthians 15:26

Pray
Father thank You for sending Your son to remind us that only through You is there life and because of You there is no death- and Jesus proved this in his healing of those dying, the resurrection of the dead, and in his own resurrection. Thank you Father. Amen.

Reflection
We leave this level of existence to move forward to another level of existence. Although our bodies no longer function here, we continue to live on elsewhere. Death is unreal. Embrace the reality of eternal life with the Father and son.

>While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.

Luke 24:51

Pray
Father thank You for my blessings; thank You for the angels You have sent to protect, guide, and enlighten me; thank You for my loved ones- those I stay in constant contact with and those I haven’t spoken to in years. For those who have been a blessing to me let me be a blessing to them; and for those who need a blessing let me be there to bless them through You. Your son Jesus blessed us, ascended, and we honored him as the wayshower to You. In his name and Yours I humbly pray. Amen.

Reflection
Today I attended the funeral services of my dear friend Marta V. Butler and during her short 54-years here on this planet she was a blessing to all who crossed her path. The hearts she touched was evident in a filled chapel with everyone there to honor one person- Marta. She has now left us on this level of existence to ascend to a higher level of existence with our heavenly Father. He has bigger and better plans for her, and I’m content knowing that she has been ‘promoted’. Memories of Marta will continue to serve as blessings for years to come.

Remember to be a blessing to others! Who will attend your funeral? Who will extend their heartfelt wishes? What will people have to say about you when you pass away?

Love you always,

Natasha

>Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:10-11

Pray
Father let me first start by saying thank you Lord for all You do, past, present and future. Father this is the time for me to confirm my calling and election- let me stand firm in the knowledge and wisdom of Your plan for me. I want to serve You fully, purposely and purposefully Lord. I want to do right by You; I want to live the life of honor that best reflects You. Never do I want You disappointed in me Father. In Your name I pray. Amen.

Reflection
Look to see your purpose, calling and election- then live to fulfill these expectations as the Lord has called you to do. We have all been called to do certain things in life; it is up to us to listen, act, and do our best to serve our heavenly Father and His children. When we march in His cause, walk on His path His hand always guides us and we won’t stumble. It’s when we choose to live our own lives, separate from His direction we will always fall on our face repeatedly.

>When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do.

Romans 4:18

Pray
Father I want to believe regardless of what is going on in my life. I want to trust and have faith in You without question, doubt, or hesitancy. I want to trust in You against all odds. I want to remove ‘can’t’ and ‘impossible’ from my vocabulary and from my thinking. I want to grab ahold of my fears and slap them into submission. Fill me Father. Amen.

Reflection
Let us focus on what God tells us and shows us, not what the enemy tries to convince us. We can overcome all things through God.

Pray
Father I pray for continued growth. I pray that I may build upon my skills and become the person You intend for me to become. Amen

Reflection
You can't get better in any aspect of your life without practice; without trying repeatedly; without trying your best and working to improve upon that. Sharpen your ax and make your work seem effortless.
