Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 8.13.11

Fools fold their hands and ruin themselves.

Ecclesiastes 4:5

Pray
Father, never do I want to be closed off from You, closed off from knowledge and wisdom, and the right way to live my life. Father I never want to be stubborn and set in my ways where I never consider and accept alternative avenues shared by other people to reach my goal.

Lord I always want to have a “can do” attitude even in a situation that may at first and throughout seem impossible to complete, overcome, or achieve. I’m not a quitter Father, and You know this more than I do- keep showing me the possibilities and potential that I have. Keep blessing me Lord. Keep my mind and heart receptive and open to You and Your children Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Reflection
Crossed arms leave you closed off to receiving God’s blessings, and incapable of being a blessing to others. Ever try walking, jogging, or running with your hands or arms interlocked? Eventually you WILL lose balance and you run the risk of falling flat on your face. Why purposely subject yourself to that? Always keep your hands and arms open and free to receive and give. I love you all.
