Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 7.31.12

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Matthew 6:33 NIV

Pray
Father thank You for today, for my gift of life and health. Today I pray for more patience and understanding. I pray that I am slow to anger or get frustrated, and that I carry myself with dignity and grace in all circumstances.

I strive to do better to get better, and pray that as a result I am blessed more. I seek You and I pray to seek You always. Amen.

Reflection
No matter what life brings or how others treat you, seek God first and always. Push past the feelings of doubt, hesitation, fear, frustration, and anger—and reach inside for the goodness that only God can create, provide, and replenish. This has nothing to do with others, and everything to do with you.

The most important part of healing is adjusting your thinking first, believing you are whole and complete, and that as God’s child you are free from any sickness or disease. Your mind is more powerful than your body ever could be—the next step is to watch as the part of you that wasn’t aligned properly, begins to heal and become whole.

We either believe in God or we don’t. I believe and I seek Him.

How about you?

Love,

Natasha
