Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 8.29.12

For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.

1 Peter 2:15 NIV

Pray
Father I hope that each day I do good towards others and do good to better myself. I want to constantly improve and grow, and bless others each day. I don’t want to ever be content with mediocrity, or accept the words of those who will turn a blind eye to a lie because the lie provides their paycheck. I always want to seek the truth and be free in Your Truth. Amen.

Reflection
Only fools skim the top, while the wise dive deep. The wise know that there are systems set up to manipulate and hide the truth, but that God’s Truth can never be manipulated or hidden. The wise know that man’s truth can be skewed if it is more rewarding financially to rely on a lie. So the wise know to dig deep, do research, and seek the Truth in all things and in all matters.

The wise research the research. The wise do not rely on statements made by the press, politicians, scientists, or researchers. The wise instead say, “show me your sources and my Source will reveal the facts and Truth,” and then they dig deep to verify the statements, claims, figures, and statistics. A fool says, “well so-and-so said…so it must be true,” and with that the lie continues to build, grow, take form, and spread.

We must do good by seeking out the Truth and not settling for whatever comes our way, that on the surface seems acceptable. How many times have you changed your view on a topic because you found out new details? What if you had sought out the Truth in the beginning, do you not think that God would have provided the answers? People make millions and billions, and more off of our ignorance, fear, and arrogance.

Aren’t you tired of being a puppet? Aren’t you tired of being played with and manipulated by people who are profiting off of your unwillingness to think? We should only be led and directed by God with the help of His son, Jesus. All of our knowledge, wisdom, and understanding comes from God—so why do we not turn to Him for the answers?

No website, movie, tv show, medical professional, educator, politician, or any other human can tell you or show you what God can. Think about it.

Lovingly,

Natasha
