Pray
Father I say a prayer today for those of Your children that are in pain and are looking for someone to blame. I pray for those who claim to love, believe, and have faith in You, yet place their focus on other forces beside You. I pray that You fill them until they are more than satisfied, and feel whole and complete.
Touch my heart so that I can have patience and am not shaken or disturbed by what I see, hear, or experience. Give me the words to comfort, enlighten, and educate. Loving you always. Amen.
Reflection
Today I met a woman who is so hurt that she is more focused on placing blame and taking down others, than healing. She refers to God and in the same breath is focused on satan and those she believes worship it. She refers to God but then says the “illuminati” is so powerful that they can destroy our world. How can anyone or anything be more powerful than God? If you believe that God is all-in-all then you never consider another force being more powerful than Him. You know the truth, when the Truth is in you.
How in one breath can a person glorify God and then dismiss Him in their fear and delusions?
In her mind, the judges of our court system, and most celebrities are members of the illuminati, and in turn worship satan. She believes that these people have sold their soul to the devil and are being used to change the world, inject evil, and raise up satan. She says that the radio and television are portals for evil, yet she freely surfs the Internet (to prove her point). Yes, contradictory and flawed, but this is how she thinks.
Now don’t jump to conclusions and assume that this woman is walking around looking crazed and deranged. She runs a nonprofit and a for-profit organization. She looks and acts as “normal” as you and I, until of course she goes off on her tangent. Then the look in her eye changes, and her behavior shifts. She is obsessed with evil. She is obsessed with finding it.
See she was badly hurt when she lost her home due to foreclosure and predatory lenders, so she has invested a great part of her life educating and helping others so they do not become “victims”. But one thing I realized is that her fixation on the “evil” that she sees in the world has made her an active participant in negativity. She sees every person of authority as part of some greater conspiracy. Her pain and anger spews out of her as darkness, and it suffocates those who engage in a conversation with her.
I prayed during and after my lengthy conversation with her. I pray for her now. I pray for her healing and that she releases the negativity from her life, and begins to truly live. I pray that we all embrace our walk in life and that we focus on reflecting God’s love and not focusing on how much darkness is out there. God said this is His battle, not ours. We’re supposed to be focused on spreading love and light.
