Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 10.11.12

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

1 Chronicles 16:34 NIV

Pray
Father I praise You because You never leave us or stop loving us. You are always protecting us and showing us the Way, the Truth, and the Light. When we turn to You in times of fear, pain, or sorrow—You comfort us immediately.

Only through You is there healing. Only through You is there possibility and answers. Your Love brings us closer to You and to each other— Your family.

I am grateful for Your loving touch, patience, forgiveness, understanding, healing and constant knowing. I am grateful for another day here to demonstrate Your love and light.

I pray for those I know and those I don’t know. I pray for my family members, immediate and extended, near and far. I pray for the stranger whose eyes I may have met once and for those I’ve never come in contact with. I know we are all Your children and we are interconnected across nations, sharing one blood and one life—given to us by You.

I am humbly grateful to and for You Father. In Your name I pray as Your child, servant, and follower of Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Reflection
As I prayed passionately a few moments ago, declaring God’s Truth about the health and wellbeing of my younger cousin, a calm came over me like a blanket. My cold, trembling body became warm and still, and I opened an app on my phone to a daily Bible verse that made me smile and immediately say, “YES He Is!” That verse is the one I share today.

I wasn’t looking for any particular verse, I was just looking for the Truth and to redirect my focus as I rebuked the enemy’s sly voice that was working overtime.

I know God’s power and His ability to heal, and make a way out of no way. Our Father has healed me countless times. Our Father has saved me countless times. So I declared that I knew His presence with my cousin, and I prayed that He comforted and gave strength to my cousin and her boyfriend as they were transported to the hospital.

I KNOW what God can do. I KNOW He’s my All in All, my Alpha and Omega, and everything in between. So as I sit here this early morning before the sun has even risen, I KNOW that God has taken care of all things and all people.

I KNOW that He has taken care of my cousin, and that she is whole and complete because He made her that way, and she is NEVER alone and NEVER without love and protection.

I say clearly to each of you that no matter what you have gone through, are going through, or may go through in the future— there is only one answer, one solution, one way, one path—and that is our Heavenly Father Mother God. The Father to Abraham, Moses, Israel, and our Shepherd, Jesus the Wayshower.

I refused to give in to the fear the enemy hoped I had. I refused to give in to any thinking that would claim a limit to what God can do. And I continue at this very moment to stand tall in my convictions.

This morning once again I have been tested—how would I respond, what would I do? I am still being tested—as is my cousin and our family. Will we hold on to our faith and belief in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? Or will we cave in?

I am not waiting to share today’s message until I hear word from doctors that my cousin is okay. Because God is the source of her healing, health, and life. So I say to God right now, “Thank You Lord” because there is no doubt in my mind of His greatness and love. He is in us, with us, and surrounding us.

Can you feel Him? Your cup should be running over, so be sure to share your blessings with others today.

I love you all. I pray you love yourselves too! Say a pray for your brothers and sisters in Christ with as much passion and zest as you do for yourself. Embrace your day family!

You are healed Rita Bug!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love,

Natasha
