Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 10.15.12

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart….”

Jeremiah 1:5 NIV

Pray
Father I read these words and its message and meaning are so deep, yet so simple. There is no person or source in the world capable of doing what You do. Only You have the ability to know Your children before they are formed in the womb, and only You can determine our paths before we are born. So only You know what we can and will think and do, long before we make an attempt. Only You know my heart truly, and know what I’m capable of, and where I can go.

So I am comforted in knowing that every moment I call to You, speak Your name, and say a prayer—You are here, listening, making things happen, and answering my prayers. Thank You Father. I love You.

Reflection
We may not know what we want to do when we ‘grow up’ but God does. You could be 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, or 90 and still a little confused—but God isn’t. He knows exactly what He has in store for you, and in His Mind there is no limit and your age is merely a number and not a state of being or a restriction on your ability.

We place the restrictions. We dwell on age. We say, “I can’t do it because I’m too old” or “I can’t do it because I’m too young”. God says we can do anything through Him, and His Son Jesus shows us the way. God calls us out each day to demonstrate His power and glory. We choose to be lazy, fearful, and doubt Him. We are never too young or too old to learn, grow, and live. We are never too old to heal from injuries and rebound to a better state than we were. We place those limitations on ourselves.

We tell ourselves we’re too old to have children, go back to school, travel the world, get back in shape, weigh what we did in high school or college, dance and sing like we’re still a teen—WE do that—NOT God!

When will we stop doubting God? Are you ready to start living and growing to your potential—to where God sees you? I am!!!!

Let’s do this!!!

Love you all,

Natasha
