The tongue that heals is a tree of life, but a devious tongue breaks the spirit.
Proverbs 15:4 HCSB
Father touch my heart that I think before I speak, and never say anything to intentionally harm another person, or bring negativity upon myself. I know that the tongue is mightier than the sword. Always lovingly remind me of this. I love you and thank you. Amen
Sometimes you say something and realize later the impact of your words. You can never take back the things that you say about yourself or others. Thinking before we speak is not just a casual reminder, it’s intended to ingrain within your mind and heart to be loving, compassionate, thoughtful, and understanding even in your worst moments.
What you say about yourself and others can one day come true, whether good or bad. Remember that!
