Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 7.10.13

For it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will set aside the understanding of the experts. Where is the philosopher? Where is the scholar? Where is the debater of this age? Hasn’t God made the world’s wisdom foolish? For since, in God’s wisdom, the world did not know God through wisdom, God was pleased to save those who believe through the foolishness of the message preached.

1 Corinthians 1:19-21 HCSB

Pray
Father I seek to learn only from You and the sources that You place before me. Open my eyes to see, recognize, and embrace all that You desire. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Reflection
It doesn’t matter how smart you think you are, or others claim you to be, God’s wisdom is greater. So it is wise to turn to Him for guidance. It is wise to pray to Him for the knowledge you need to navigate through obstacles. Your intelligence, knowledge, and wisdom comes from Him. Praise Him. Acknowledge Him. Give credit to Him.

Let me wrap this up by saying happy birthday to my aunt Valerie and my cousin Kambria. I love you both!

Sending love,

Natasha
