So it is with the resurrection of the dead: Sown in corruption, raised in incorruption; sown in dishonor, raised in glory; sown in weakness, raised in power; sown a natural body, raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
So it is written: The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, then the spiritual. The first man was from the earth and made of dust; the second man is from heaven.
Like the man made of dust, so are those who are made of dust; like the heavenly man, so are those who are heavenly. And just as we have borne the image of the man made of dust, we will also bear the image of the heavenly man.
1 Corinthians 15:42-49 HCSB
Father I pray that as You mold me, You mold out of me all that is undesirable to You, and all that is less like Jesus Christ my shepherd. I pray that as I grow and mature on my walk that when I encounter other people they see Your Light inside of me, and walk away with a good example of what it means to be a Christian. I pray that I never show to others any darkness that would cast a shadow on Christ and Your Kingdom. Correct my steps Father. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
On our journey we should be focused on our transformation spiritually and not obsessed with our human exploration and drama-filled days. Our reality is not television or the latest fashion statement, song on the radio, or those endless emails that keep popping into our inbox. Our reality is living our purpose as assigned by God, and taking the steps for the next level of existence as transformed and awakened spiritual beings. Work to learn quickly through mistakes, trials, and lessons, so that your life beyond the here and now is more fruitful than you could ever imagine.
Happy birthday to my beloved cousin Patricia. I love you girly!!
