Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 11.29.13

But the leader of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, responded by telling the crowd, “There are six days when work should be done; therefore come on those days and be healed and not on the Sabbath day.”

 Pray
Father may I never miss the opportunity to do good, to help others, to heal or be healed because of my limited thinking, or because of the influence of those with limited thinking. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

 Reflection
Jesus taught and demonstrated that God’s love and healing power is not limited, restricted, or confined to specific days of the week, or seasons of the year. Jesus healed seven days a week and dared anyone to stop him. Jesus challenged people to think rationally and logically about healing and working on the sabbath—asking if they would allow prized livestock to drown or be lost simply because an incident took place on the sabbath.

Never pass on the opportunity to share God’s light. Happy Friday family. Enjoy your weekend!

 Love always,

 Natasha
