Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 12.5.13

I tell you that on the day of judgment people will have to account for every careless word they speak. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

 Matthew 12:36, 37 HCSB

 Pray
Father I know that I am a work in progress, flawed, confused, and oftentimes distracted—but You know my heart. Even the words that come from my mouth are sometimes quickly regretted, and I apologize for their use, You know that it was in a moment of weakness and ignorance that I gave in and was careless. I want to be more thoughtful and considerate when I speak of all things and all people, including myself. I don’t want to have regrets. I don’t want to disappoint You. I pray that You touch my heart and mind, so that I think and consider my words before I speak. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

 Reflection

Speaking with the conviction of God’s light means never having to apologize or ask for forgiveness.

 Love always,

 Natasha
