Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 12.16.13

Be sure that you continue to follow the teaching you heard from the beginning. If you do that, you will always be in the Son and in the Father. And this is what the Son promised us—eternal life.

 1 John 2:24, 25 ERV

 Pray
Father I seek a consistency in my commitment and service to You. I seek growth but a never wavering belief in Your Word. Strengthen me in my walk. Help me to be a better student. I seek You always. In Your son Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

 Reflection
The light that you feel inside when you have connected to God and our savior Jesus Christ, is the Truth that Jesus taught. Hold on tight to that teaching and let it guide you through your walk to eternal life. As you grow as a student you should be more determined to stay focused on the path God has placed before you. When you waver, when doubt slips in, pray for refocus, and the strength to continue.

Our earliest understanding of love was shared with us as children. The majority of us still believe in that love so we seek it and try our best to share it. We should do the same with the teaching of the Truth we first heard and embraced. Seek it and share it. Through our commitment we will find and receive salvation.

 Lovingly your sister in Christ,

 Natasha
