Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 1.9.14

For by the grace given to me, I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he should think. Instead, think sensibly, as God has distributed a measure of faith to each one.

 Romans 12:3 HCSB

 Pray
Father I pray for a humble nature so that I may always appreciate even the greatest things, objects, and actions—while never taking for granted my blessings. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

 Reflection
Sometimes we get too “big for our britches”, too big-headed, and self-absorbed. The Lord always balances things out for us. Instead of facing a hard, painful lesson, why not ask God to keep your feet on the ground so you never forget who you are and to Whom you owe everything? I know I’m tired of learning things the hard way. How about you?

 Lovingly,
 Natasha
