Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 4.17.14

For though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became nonsense, and their senseless minds were darkened.

Romans 1:21 HCSB

I know that I don’t always praise You Father. I know that when life drags me through the mud, I’m not praising You. I know that when a loved one passes, I’m not praising You. Father I want to praise You during good times and bad times, through sunshine and storms. Touch my heart so that I praise You always. Touch my heart Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Yesterday I shared a message about rejoicing, praying, and giving thanks each and every day, in and through every situation. We must constantly pray for this change to take place within our hearts so that it becomes our reality, our every day, our life.

We must pray for our spiritual weaknesses to become our strengths. Only God can make that happen, and only after our commitment to the process. Pray that He touches your heart so that you can benefit fully from His blessings, and so others may benefit from their interaction with you.

Questions of the Day
1.What is your biggest obstacle blocking you from praising God and showing gratitude in every situation?

2. How confident are you in your ability to let go and trust God in everything?

Please also feel free to share this post with others. We’re never quite sure who needs to hear and see what, and when! It would be awesome if whenever you run across a prayer, message, or scripture that moves you, you would kindly share it with the rest of us. You can post it on this blog or send me an email.

Love always,
