Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 6.4.14

Why brag about evil, you hero! God’s faithful love is constant. Like a sharpened razor, your tongue devises destruction, working treachery. You love evil instead of good, lying instead of speaking truthfully. Selah You love any words that destroy, you treacherous tongue! This is why God will bring you down forever. He will take you, ripping you out of your tent; He will uproot you from the land of the living. Selah

Psalms 52:1-5 HCSB

Pray
Lord please force out the darkness. Please balance the impact of deeds done and words said so that peace comes and blots out the chaos. Today I pray for the ignorant, the pompous, narcissistic, and the arrogant. I pray for those who see themselves more than they see You. Forgive them for their self-centeredness. Forgive us Father for our wrongdoings. See our heart. Humbly I pray for Your Light. Amen.

Reflection
The enemy never sleeps and never rests. It works 24/7 and doesn’t take vacations or care about holidays. It is always looking for an angle to attack and take advantage of you. It will even entice you to remain in bad situations with tainted people by making you see an illusion of power that these people falsely possess. There is no power greater than God’s. There is no force more intense than His.

Turn your back on the enemy’s puppets, and tell the enemy to be silent. Do not invest a moment in the madness. Do not allow yourself to walk down the path of darkness. Turn to God and let Him fight your battles.

Questions of the Day
1.When you read today’s scripture, what came to mind first?

2. Do you make it a habit of calling out evil when you see it or do you sit in silence and try to ignore it?

3. Describe your energy when impacted by darkness versus light.
