We know that God works all things together for good for the ones who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 CEB
Father I seek strength to endure and patience to wait for You. Amen.
There are days when I have a pity party, feeling bad for myself, feeling guilty for things that I have done or said in the past, and feeling stupid for not putting God first in every decision that I’ve made. Then I’m reminded of Job. His life makes mine look like a fairytale with an awesome storyline and no darkness to ruin my ending.
When the ‘clouds’ float over you, pray for the strength and vision to see past them, and the patience to wait for God’s call. Through it all keep praising God, because you could be going through the turmoil that Job endured. We must be grateful for our blessings.
Questions of the Day
1. What would you like to testify about today?
2. How has prayer helped you recently?
3. How do you make it through the ‘cloudy’ days?
