Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 12.23.14

“Behold, the virgin shall become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel — which, when translated, means, God with us.”

Matthew 1:23, AMP

Pray
Father thank You for the gift of Your Son, sent to us, Your children, as a reminder of our connection and relationship to You. I’m humbly grateful. Praising You in Jesus’ name always. Amen.

Reflection
What other example can we find as strong and in-your-face as Jesus and his life as our Savior? What other example clearly shows God’s expectations and His closeness to us, than the life story of Jesus and his teachings? The other great heroes and sheroes of the Bible were mere mortals following God’s instruction. Jesus was and is the way to God. Jesus serves as our constant reminder of who we are and to Whom we belong. Consider that.

Questions of the Day
1. What do you think of today’s message?
2. What testimony would you like to share?
3. In what ways has Jesus’s life, parables, and/or lessons made you more committed in your spiritual journey?

Please also feel free to share this post with others. We’re never quite sure who needs to hear and see what, and when! It would be awesome if whenever you run across a prayer, message, or scripture that moves you, you would kindly share it with the rest of us. You can post it on this blog or send me an email.

Love always,
Natasha
