Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 4.27.15

Even when I falter, You know my heart Father. I pray for consistency in my actions. I pray for obedience, even in distraction and chaos. Father help me to follow through, to hear Your Voice above all others, and answer first to It. You have blessed me even when I didn’t think I deserved it. Thank You Father. Humbly I pray to You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Today’s scripture was sent to me on April 14, 2015 from Melaurie Brown, who didn’t want credit for sending it to me, but you all know that I always acknowledge the rays of light that send God’s Word and love. Thank you Melaurie!
Today’s message isn’t just for the women, but also for the men. The more obedient that we are, the more blessed we become, and the more blessings that we receive (especially the ones we weren’t sure we deserved), the more that we believe in God’s commitment and confidence in us.
Today’s message is helpful for women because the world has placed us in a box, reducing us beneath men, and taking us out of context of how God sees us. God didn’t and doesn’t just use and work through men, but women too! We fixate on the stories and parables of great men in history, but gloss over the few stories (the ones that men didn’t or should I say couldn’t omit) from the Bible as though they are less impactful.
Look closely at your scriptural textbook called the Bible. Every generation was and has come from the womb of woman, as God has always intended. If God wanted man to be the end all be all for humankind then He would have also made it possible for men to solely reproduce both male and female from their bodies. But He didn’t, and God doesn’t make mistakes.
Don’t let the world diminish who you are ladies! Believe and be blessed abundantly!
