His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him.
2 Peter 1:3
Father thank You for this day, for molding me, and for Your patience. I pray for the inner peace that brings contentment and the satisfaction in knowing that I have all that I need through You. Keep molding me Father. Humbly I pray to You. Amen.
When we are content, we have no desire to consider our needs, because we know that we have all that we need, and that God is constantly providing and making a way before we even comprehend our needs. I read an awesome quote that sums it up perfectly, “Contentment is an inner sufficiency— a satisfaction found through the depth of one’s own life with God, independent of his or her surroundings.”
If your struggle with being content with your life, consider why, and think of what it will take to get you there.
