Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 10.21.15

“The wounds of a friend are trustworthy, but the kisses of an enemy are excessive.”
Proverbs‬ ‭27:6‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
Father I pray for discernment to see the wolf masquerading as a sheep, the enemy pretending to be a friend, the trap neatly covered, and the crooked that appears to be straight. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Watch the person who invests a ridiculous amount of time trying to get close to you, to quickly befriend you, and kisses up to you— sometimes as a parting goodbye they will even kiss you as they stab you in the back.
Let’s not forget how long Judas Iscariot traveled around with Jesus, just to sell him out for a little money.
