Touch my heart Lord. I only have 24 hours each day, and I want to make the most of my time, avoiding or diffusing drama along the way. Lift me up so that I can step away and not deep into mess. Let me walk the same way whether I know I’m being watched or not. Fill me with peace Father. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Some people walk around as though they are invisible, as though God turns a blind eye, like they won’t get caught. Some think that they can judge others by standards that even they refuse to live by. Their hearts are cold and hardened, yet they expect people to treat them as though their hearts are warm and open. There’s no satisfying them, even when they say they are pleased and content.
Don’t be one of those people. Are your roots yielding life or death, peace or chaos?
