Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 1.22.16

Pray
Listening, watching, waiting in peace Father. I won’t let anything or anyone sway me, deter me, or break me. The storm is coming but You’re my shelter. I have on my rain gear. Amen.

Reflection

I received this text message this morning and had to share it with all of you:

GOD is always with us. He Himself said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you”. Some people are worried about the storm that’s coming. Don’t worry. JESUS spoke, “Peace be still” and calmed the storms. He’s the same GOD yesterday, today and forever. TRUST HIM!

The storm may be coming your way. The storm may already be here. I’ve got rain boots, a rain coat, and an umbrella. Let’s jump out in the rain, not hide inside trembling in fear. Are you prepared? Let’s do this!

Questions of the Day

1. What would you like to add to today’s prayer and/or reflection?

2. Please share your testimony of how God helped you through life’s storms?

3. How have you learned to deal with life’s storms?

4. How have you learned how to cope with feeling alone, abandoned, or neglected?
Feel free to share your answers, prayers, comments, and reflections in the comment section below. You can also send me an email at: breakingbreadwithnatasha@gmail.com

Please also feel free to share this post with others. We’re never quite sure who needs to hear and see what, and when! It would be awesome if whenever you run across a prayer, message, or scripture that moves you, you would kindly share it with the rest of us. You can post it on this blog or send me an email.

Love always,

Natasha
