When my body gives out, my convictions and character will still push forward—that’s what I pray for Father. Let me not fixate on the temporal, but rather be driven by the eternal.
My body is Yours, a temple that I’m not to abuse or misuse. I promise not to obsess over it and risk my most intangible possession—my soul, as a trade off.
There are some people with bodies that look like a sculptor chiseled them. They are lean and muscular, exuding strength and power as they walk confidently.
Some of those people are physically strong, but spiritually bankrupt—their faith is tied to what they can see, what they possess, what they can buy. But there is a lack of foundation in God’s Word.
Take care of God’s temple (your body) while you also take care of your spiritual heart and mind. When the body goes, the other two carry on.
