Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 8.29.16

Ecclesiastes 7:9

Pray                                                                                                                                                       Father in my weakness I do and say things out of anger, and harm comes to others, which I later, oftentimes, regret. I don’t want to be seen as a fool by You. Hold my tongue Father. Touch my heart so I think first and am slow to anger. Help me to think and then respond as You would want. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Reflection                                                                                                                                                The one who loses control is the one who loses. Period. Our health, wellbeing, and life are impacted by the energy we release and absorb. I know that when my buttons are pushed, I can go from zero to sixty on someone real quick. But who really benefits when both parties are harmed by my inability to control my emotions? I’m indeed a work in progress. I pray regularly for restraint. So when I saw this scripture I knew I had to share it.
