Father thank You for another day of blessings, lessons, and love. Father please touch my heart so that I’m quick to forgive, slow to lash out in pain, and that I refrain from judging others and holding grudges. Just as You forgive, I want to forgive. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
We ask God for forgiveness. We’re passionate in our pleas. Yet we’re either slow to forgive others, or we outright refuse. We feel entitled to punish others for hurting us but yet we beg God to spare us punishment for the sins that we commit.
We are hypocrites.
Give as God gives. Love as God loves. Forgive as God forgives. Leave the judging for the Judge. Focus on getting and staying right by Him. Stop dictating to others how they should live. Stop trying to control other people. Work on controlling your mind and your mouth.
Think about it and then do something. God’s waiting patiently for us to get our mess together.
I love you!
