Father thank You for this day. Thank You for my life as I know it and for what I will one day open my eyes to see as true ‘life’.
Father You know my burdens, fears, anxieties, stress, and sorrow. You said You would never fail me or abandon me, and I know this to be true. So thank You, Father, for always being here for me, even through my foolishness and disobedience. I love You so much. I give You all the glory. Amen.
If you think God has failed you and abandoned you, why not consider looking in the mirror—the physical one and then peer deeper inside so you can see the spiritual one.
If your faith wavers so will your vision, and ability to see your daily blessings, and God’s protecting arms around you.
If you aren’t smiling and praising Him through the storm then that means you’re only faithful to Him when the skies are clear and calm.
You’re allowing the enemy to whisper in your ear and convince you that God isn’t faithful to you. Rebuke the enemy and tell it to kick some rocks down the road. Tell the enemy to get behind you and “keep it moving!”
We’re called to be faithful and serve fully, every single day, through the ups and the downs. Because whether you believe it or not, God’s not a failure or a deadbeat. He doesn’t just give up and walk away. He’s here at all times, even when you’re crying, fussing, and cursing.
Think about this. Pray. Reflect. Listen for His voice!
