Father thank You for allowing me to see and understand things in the time and place that You see fit, because You know that I cannot handle or comprehend the fulness of this world or Your Kingdom. I apologize for my impatience, hard head, flippant attitude, and disobedience. Gently and lovingly mold me Father.
Silly silly silly children we are. Our failure to see beneath the surface, to go beyond the physical to the spiritual, to see through a different kind of lens not our eyes.
A great portion of the Bible has spiritual not physical connotations and correlations, but we take things literally—well, except the things that we want to avoid because they don’t serve our self-serving desires.
Take the Bible and read it through a spiritual lens. Remove the physical elements and the barriers that limit our ability to grasp the possibility of certain things taking place as written. Dig deep, go within, and then you will see how the Son of Man “must be lifted up” while remaining with us forever!
