Sharing a Message That Came to Me Right on Time “Go Further, Dream Bigger”

My friend Juanita Bryan forwarded this message from Joel Osteen to me this morning. I’m so grateful that she listened to God when He told her to send it to me. I was praying when the text came in. When I say that her timing was perfect, I’m not joking. It was exactly what I needed to read at that very moment. It’s exactly what I need to read and recite on a daily basis, as I grow through my struggles.

So rather than keep it to myself or share with a few people, I decided to pay it forward and share this much-needed message with all of you. Hopefully it brings comfort and sparks a forward progress that you (or someone else) needs right now. Enjoy and God bless you!

Your sister in Christ,

Go Further, Dream Bigger

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

(Philippians 4:13, NKJV)

TODAY’S WORD:

No matter what’s happening in your life today, remember, you are not limited by your resources, your family or your background. Almighty God has equipped and empowered you. He has given you creativity, ideas, inventions, skills and talents. Don’t you dare settle for a mediocre life! Today, call forth the seeds of greatness within you!

Today, declare that your best days are ahead. Declare that you are going further than anyone in your family ever did, that you are going to dream bigger and live higher.

Before anyone put a curse on you, God Almighty put a blessing on you. Walk and live in that blessing by following His commands and stay fully committed to Him in everything you do!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, thank You for blessing me and calling me according to Your purposes. I receive Your Word which is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. I will hide Your truth in my heart that I might not sin against You in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

– Joel Osteen

Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 10.3.17

Note: This message was originally shared by me on October 2, 2010.

Scripture

Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you. For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:6-7

Pray
Father thank You for Your priceless gifts. I will use the power, love, and mind You have given me to do good in Your name. I will do so without fear, arrogance, or a sense of entitlement or superiority. I honor and love You all the days of my life. Amen.

Reflection
We are fully equipped with everything we need. God has provided an endless supply of tools and gifts to be used to build His Kingdom; to spread His love and grace; to restore dignity, hope and honor to those who are struggling most; and to put (and keep) in check those who have strayed, and believe these gifts to be theirs to do whatever they please; even if that means harming others in the process.

Let us not walk in fear, because that is not a quality or gift of God. Let us remember our roles as His servants, stewards…His children; that we always honor and obey Him. Use your gifts that you were born with to heal, help, and uplift God’s children. Starting today!

Love,

Natasha

Message From Natasha

Dear Breaking Bread Family:

It’s been awhile since I’ve shared a message with you. This year has been one of the most trying and difficult in my adult life. I’ve been struggling with some things and I needed and still need a cleansing break to spiritually and mentally work on this. I’ve been sharing this blog since 2009 and from time to time I need a break to recharge. I need a break right now.

I’m still working on my book and am grateful for the days when I can sit and type freely without distractions. I look forward to the moment when I can smile at that published work in my hands.

Today is a day that I struggle with some fears and frustrations. God has touched my heart to share one of my Breaking Bread messages. I will be posting it shortly. May it bring all of us some peace today. May it declutter our minds so that we can see and embrace the opportunities that God has placed before us.

Love,

Natasha
