Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 12.14.17

Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.

Acts 8:4

Father I have come to realize that my relationship with You is not truly to be a private one. How else will the world receive Your message, hear of Your omnipotence and omnipresence? How else will they hear testimonies of healing and blessings that were only made possible because of You? Father fill me; open my eyes and my heart that I might be receptive and free to absorb the knowledge and wisdom to demonstrate, express, and teach Your Word.

Father You are molding me into a phenomenal child. I am eager to serve You and Your children. I am eager to please You and to be the best ambassador that I can be- that You call me to be. I humbly pray to You that I am here and ready Lord- do with me as You will. Amen.

We may pray silently or aloud, but our testimony should never be kept private; our healing’s and blessings are to be shared with the world. Believers just as non-believers have to be constantly shown proof of God’s presence, His power, grace and capabilities. Some of us have conditional relationships with God, some have a one-sided relationship- where He is doing His part, but we aren’t doing ours.

You don’t have to pat your Bible, you don’t have to work at converting anyone. Your testimony time after time is all you need to show how God has blessed you. How you carry yourself every single day both inside and outside of your home and your church exemplifies the relationship you have with God and His favor in your life. How you treat people is a direct correlation to the relationship and understanding that you have with our Father. Believe it!

If you aren’t being faithful in your relationship with a loved one, then how can you possibly be faithful and committed to God? If you are playing games, being deceitful, neglectful, insensitive, or uncaring with the man or woman in your life- how can you possibly say that you are a devoted child of God? How can you possibly say that you are an ambassador for Christ? How can you possibly say that you put God first in your life?

If you are not taking care of your responsibilities as a wife, husband, or parent then how can you live up to God’s expectations of you? You are lying to yourself, to God, to Jesus, and to the person you claim to love. Stop the lies and start living in the Word.

Today is Thursday. Is that not amazing? The weekend is almost here and you have experienced a slew of blessings all week long- if you can count all of them, then you need to dig deeper – because it is impossible for me to count all of my blessings each day.

There are so many reasons to stand on top of a roof and shout “thank you Lord” from the top of your lungs. Wherever you go you should spread God’s word in some way. It does not have to be “preachy” it just has to be loving and shared without expectations. It can be as simple as declaring your gratitude for life, vision, and the ability to breathe and think freely; gratitude for the small things you have been blessed with each day. Is that too difficult?

Enjoy every second of your day and be a blessing to others.

Shared with love,
