Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 4.5.18- Late Post

My apologies for the late post. Today has been filled with taking care of some personal, family matters.

Today I share a bold message from April 5, 2012. It however does not include audio. It is only modified for formatting purposes. I hope that it touches you and that you will share it with others so that it might also touch them.

Scripture

I will maintain my innocence and never let go of it; my conscience will not reproach me as long as I live.

Job 27:6

Prayer

Father I thank You for another day. I thank You for my loved ones. I thank You for experiences past, the ones I face now, and those awaiting me in my future.

Father I want to be obedient to You. I want a clear conscience, free of guilt, shame, and sin–I want to build my life towards righteousness, and not walk around looking over my shoulder.

Father it would be selfish of me to ask for blessings when I have not made things right from my past, and not atoned for my trespasses and debts to others.

Father I pray that You equip me with the tools and resources to make right my wrongs, and I will do the work faithfully to fulfill my obligations.

Father any feelings I have harmed, any loose strings I have not tied, and words not spoken, let me be in a position to handle those things and then finally put them to rest, to never be revisited.

Let my past remain in the past, and never allow me to dig up old things You wanted to stay buried— to see if they still ‘work’. Let me not carry around added burden, harbor any resentment, or walk without grace, honor, and humility.

I ask these things with the presence of light, and a burning desire to do right by You and by all. Amen.

Reflection

Having a clear conscience means you have no wrongs to right, no victims to atone for, no debts to clear, and no fences to mend.

Having a clear conscience you don’t have to sneak, hide, tell lies, cheat, steal, beg, borrow, manipulate, play games, or anything else that is not a pure and unquestionable reflection and representation of God.

When you are doing right by God you don’t live a double life, you don’t have mistresses, lovers, or affairs. When you are doing right by God you don’t need to seek revenge, you don’t need to find ways to protect yourself and your things, and you don’t need to worry about the past, present, or future.

Wouldn’t it be awesome to have a clean, clear slate? Wouldn’t it be nice to just have peace, joy, and tranquility…while still living here on Earth?

It is possible. We CAN do this. We CAN have this life.

Let’s take the first step and start emptying out our clutter, burying those skeletons in our closets, dumping that baggage we keep carrying from one relationship to the next, stop making excuses for our mediocrity and shortcomings, and stop allowing our insecurity to make us act like jerks towards others.

The ONLY ‘elite’ in this world are those who continuously walk in God’s light, pure, innocent, blameless and conscience-free.

Lovingly,

Natasha
