Scripture

There is a time for everything,

and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot;

a time to kill and a time to heal,

a time to tear down and a time to build;

a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance;

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;

a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away;

a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak;

a time to love and a time to hate,

a time for war and a time for peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NIV

Prayer

Father I pray to always be on Your time and not consumed by the past or the future, by what I had or what I desire, by what people say or the status quo of society.

Let my focus be only on You so that I can appreciate each day as it comes, for each millisecond of every day is a blessing.

Everything I gain is through Your planning, and everything I lose is through Your instruction I failed to remember and apply. I must remember that I am a spiritual being in human form having a human experience. I am to realize through my daily walk my purpose, and surrender to You, Your Power, and Your Glory—to gain the greatest gift of all. Mold me Father. Amen.

Reflection

Every day we are reminded that there is a reason for everything that happens, and that these things have happened before in the past–we are merely part of a cycle of repeated events until maybe just maybe we get it right.

Wars have occurred for thousands of years, and they will continue until we learn to love each other and live in peace. But as long as people see themselves equal to or greater than God, and benefit from the destruction of others, then we will never have peace.

We will continue to have crime until people realize that all they need comes from God; and when those that are blessed to possess an abundance of God’s gifts and wealth learn to share their blessings with the least of God’s children—we will stop seeing the “have not’s” robbing the “have’s” in society.

When we stop committing adultery, prostituting ourselves for money, cheating on the person we claim to love–and instead only seeking and nurturing the love we have at home—will we find peace and beauty internally and in the world. For those without love at home, gaining it first comes from your relationship with God and Jesus.

Love comes from God and instead of searching blindly for it, ask God to show you.

For God never intends for a person to hurt others, and if you know it would hurt someone to know that you love them (supposedly) and that you also romantically love another person, then it’s obvious God isn’t part of that relationship. God isn’t about chaos. Dishonesty in a relationship will almost always bring chaos.

Sneaking around isn’t God. Hurting someone isn’t God. Dishonesty isn’t God. Being self-consumed isn’t God.

Nagging, whining, and complaining also isn’t God.

Honesty, harmony, peace, joy, comfort, Love, and Light–now that is God!

Harming each other is the equivalent of fighting God. You attack His creation; you attack the qualities and principles that He designed. We must stop fighting God and start fighting the “enemy” who tells you there is no God, or that God is conditional or hands-off. We must listen to and obey only one voice–-God’s! The voice can be heard from within. You should be able to recognize It just as the sheep recognize their shepherd’s voice. Tune in. Tune out the clutter, static, periphery noise, and tune in to God’s voice.

Everything happens for a reason and on time. It may not make sense to you now or even years from now, but try to understand that it makes perfect sense to God. He is never surprised by what unfolds. He is never blindsided by today’s outcomes. He is never shocked by what is said or done by you or to you. He knows all, sees all, hears all, and feels all.

We each serve a purpose.

We have been given choices each day and daily we either align with the direction God desires for us or we deviate to another course that will take us down a much longer path—but still never beyond God’s sight and reach. He also knows each step, crack, pothole, pitfall, and obstacle on that path. He patiently waits as we walk and faithfully He shows us mercy each and every day, even while we walk on the undesired path. God wants us to see and experience all of the blessings that He has in store. Most of us only catch glimpses because in our impatience and busyness we are oftentimes distracted by the temporal and physical, and we don’t see that which is eternal and spiritual.

I truly believe that whatever we did not learn, gain, experience here while in this level of existence, we are given new opportunities in our next level of existence. Whether you call it heaven or not, if you believe that we do not die as spiritual beings—but rather shed this human shell and transition to another state of being, then would we not still experience levels of growth and understanding as guided and determined by God? Learning could not possibly stop here as God is Mind, and we are fed by the knowledge He provides through our lessons. The goal is to learn and apply as much as we can while here so that in our “promotion” to the next “level” our attainment can be even more rewarding.

The lesson that you need to experience and learn will unfold as God allows. As we mature, surrender, let go, open our hearts and minds to God—He reveals more and pours more into our “cup”. The more obedient that we are the more that we receive. But you must remember that the blessings intended for you are given to you on His time, not yours, based on His understanding, not yours.

There is a time for everything.

Enjoy your day—make it a full one—and pray for the opportunity to embrace and be a blessing to others today, tomorrow, and always.

Love you all,

~Natasha
