“How can these things be? ” asked Nicodemus.

“Are you a teacher of Israel and don’t know these things? ” Jesus replied. “I assure you: We speak what We know and We testify to what We have seen, but you do not accept Our testimony. If I have told you about things that happen on earth and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about things of heaven? No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven — the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.

John 3:9-15 HCSB

Father open me to receive fully without doubt or fear. I choose to follow Jesus to You. Free me from bondage. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Our doubt is no different than those who interacted with Jesus face-to-face. Our doubt is no different than the children of Israel who spent 40 years walking around in the wilderness, and spent countless years in slavery after being freed from the Egyptians.

We can’t conceive of things because we believe them to be impossible. They are impossible to us because our vision is blocked by blinders and our minds are limited by external clutter. We keep thinking it’s about us. We keep thinking that we are the ones making moves and making things happen. We keep thinking that our success is our doing. We’re so ignorant it’s almost comical.

Even when we see the Truth we spend too much time examining it, questioning it, and trying to figure out the how and why of its existence. If God wanted us to know then we would know, what’s to figure out about that?

God always reveals the Truth. God’s Light always penetrates darkness. Jesus is the way to peace, wisdom, and salvation.

The question is, do you truly want to walk with him…beginning right now? Not when you are ready, I mean right now. Because your readiness may never come, sometimes you just have to jump! Let’s do this!
