Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 7.20.18

Audio Message

Scripture

“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms…”

Ephesians 1:18-20

Reflection

If we say we have faith, then we have to roll with the crashing waves and just focus on not falling off the boat.

Jesus slept during the storm while his disciples freaked out watching the waves crash into their boat. Jesus knew that God would always see them through; that God could calm the waves and make things right, and has empowered all of us through love, hope, and faith to see past the storm and see it as fear and what it is… nothingness.

So to prove this fact, Jesus stood and silenced the fearful men by commanding the storm to stop the madness and be still.

God has equipped us with the power to stop our own madness that bubbles up within. God has equipped us with the power to overcome fear by putting our trust in Him.

Reflecting back on this day, 7 years ago, it was the second day in a row where I had only four hours of sleep because I was overwhelmed with things that were going on in my life and blindsiding me; but unlike the day before (July 19th), on July 20, 2011, I woke up with a sense of peace.

After receiving sound counsel (on those two days) from a wise person, I had resolved to the understanding that we can’t say we have faith and are faithful but then want to pick and choose when our faith is tested—there is no convenient time to walk into a storm.

We must be mentally and emotionally prepared at all times like disciplined soldiers to face the test whenever it comes and for as long as it lasts, no matter how intense and no matter how tired we get—we must keep marching on.

Today I’m suited in my military uniform and I have my helmet, safety gear, and supplies. Let’s roll.

Prayer

Father I smile today as I praise Your holy name.

My faith is being tested as I say this prayer to You, and I rejoice in knowing that I am only going through this so that I may be strengthened and restored in Your light and presence.

I know You have called on me to serve You faithfully, to never place a person or thing above You, and to remember that it is because of You that I have all of the blessings in my life.

You are all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-seeing; there is nothing going on in or around my life that You aren’t aware of and haven’t handled long before they became my issue of concern.

I release to You Father; I surrender and focus on being obedient instead of a meddler in Your business. I pray to You in Your Son Jesus’ holy name. Amen.

Note: My audio message has more content than what is written above, to include parting words to inspire and empower you as soldiers of Christ. Please listen to the message so you can receive a double dose of love and light, to be energized on your march!

Love,

Natasha

Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 7.18.18

Audio Message

This audio message contains content that is not reflected in the written message below. Please listen and enjoy!

Scripture

Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.

Look on my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins.

May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in you.

Psalm 25:17, 18, 21 NIV

Reflection

We all backslide from time to time; that’s what keeps us from truly demonstrating our perfection in God and separates us from leading beautifully spiritual lives in complete peace and harmony.

Ask God to lift you up out of your situation and place you into the realm of joy, accepting with that all of the responsibilities expected of you.

To be upright your head must be up and your eyes open, your heart must be warm and softened, your shoulders must be erect and strong enough to carry the load that will come; your thoughts must be clean, and the words that come out of your mouth must be said in love and respect.

Your actions must be aligned with your thoughts and words.

Ask and you shall receive.

Hold on to hope!

Prayer

Father forgive me, help me, cleanse me, heal me, hold me, comfort me, protect me, uplift me.

Save me from myself. Save me from those who would do me harm. Save me from my fears. Save me from the negative influence of others. Save me from my ego and pride.

In Your Son Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Love Always,

Natasha

Audio Message

Scripture

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!

John 20:19 NIV

Reflection

There is always a calm before the storm; and even during the storm you should find comfort in knowing that God and Jesus are there with you.

There may be days when you feel so overwhelmed that it’s difficult to breathe, to function, to think…those are the moments you need to pray for peace in your heart, mind, spirit, and soul; peace in your home and work place; peace in your personal life and in your career.

When you’re going through a rough time, keep going and just pray a little more intently.

Prayer

Today I declare that I will not be consumed by fear.

Father I know You are here with me, helping, watching, waiting, and directing. I may not see the solution to my problem right at this very moment, but I trust that my eyes and mind will connect and see clearly the blessing that You have waiting for me.

Father fill me with the peace Your son Jesus lived, and shared with others. Show me the way Father. In Jesus’ name I humbly pray, today and each day. Amen.

God bless you all and may He keep You encircled in His grace.

Love,

Natasha

Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 7.13.18

Scripture

They also failed to show any loyalty to the family of Jerub-Baal (that is, Gideon) in spite of all the good things he had done for them.

Judges 8:35

Reflection

Pray for discernment. Pray for the truth. Pray for strength. Pray for wisdom. Pray for peace. Pray for freedom from fear and pain. Then let go and let God.

Prayer

Father I pray that You always reveal the truth to me no matter how much it pains me. I pray that You always reveal who in my life can be trusted and who is loyal.

Father please lovingly remove from my life any person that is disloyal and untrustworthy. Free me from the grief of being manipulated and lied to; bless me with discernment so that I can see clearly the selfish and wicked.

Bless me with the strength to walk away from those who selfishly deceive me. In Your son Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Lovingly,

Natasha

Audio Recording

Scripture

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV

Reflection

Even when we have doubts and fears, and our faith and hope in life’s situations flickers on and off, one thing is constant and that’s God’s love; this is the one thing that should remain a constant for us also…our love for Him, our love for ourselves, and our love for other people…despite their faults.

Love your family, love your friends, love your neighbors, love your associates, love complete strangers, love your service providers, love your bill collectors, and love your enemies. Then watch as the world begins to look different as you begin looking through a different lens.

I love you all.

Prayer

Father I am so thankful and grateful for Your love, for it is like no other. I can rely upon Your love remaining constant for eternity.

Your love is infinite, unlike anything a human can give because You give freely without keeping track of my wrongs, without expectations, without ultimatums, and without game playing; Your love is simply an “Is” without explanation.

I have faith in You that You will always provide for me, and that You will protect me from harm. I have faith in You that You will place the right people in my life at the right time, and You will remove those individuals that don’t belong in my life now or in the future.

I have hope, and I continue to hope for the best. I hope for an enduring, loving, respectful, caring, honest, faithful, faith-filled, committed and monogamous relationship with a person who also loves and has faith in You, and never loses hope in You or mankind.

My faith and my hope may be tested, and I may sometimes waver- but one thing You know Father is that my love never leaves and is never rattled or swayed. I love You Lord.

If I didn’t love You I couldn’t possibly love myself- for You created and care for me.

Thank You for Your love Father. In Your son Jesus’ name I pray to You with an abundance of love, hope and faith. Amen.

Love always,

Natasha

Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 7.11.18

Scripture

I am glad I can have complete confidence in you.

2 Corinthians 7:16

Reflection

This is a strong declaration. Do you truly have complete confidence in God?

Do you trust 100% that He has a solution to every one of your problems?

Do you believe that He can make a way out of no way?

Let’s see.

Prayer

Father keep working on me. I believe. I want to believe. I trust. I want to trust fully and without question. I am confident that You will make a way. You always do. Help me to stay out of the way. Help me to let go and allow You to do what only You can do.

I believe that my deadlines and obligations will be met through Your will and grace. I just need to stop thinking that I can control outcomes better than You. I need to trust You Father. Wrangle and remove my fears. I humbly pray to You in Your Son, Jesus’ name. Amen.

Love,

Natasha
