Breaking Bread for 11.25.19

Scripture

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

James 1:17 NIV

Reflection

There is nothing in life that we receive in joy that does not come from our heavenly Father. Little or big, it does not matter, as they all come from Him.

I just read an excerpt from a Bible plan created by Joyce Meyers, and she speaks of a time when in prayer she mumbled to God a question asking Him why she no longer received the blessings of years past that would wow and stun her. God replied that He never stopped blessing her, she had merely grown accustomed to the blessing and was no longer shocked and amazed.

How many of us take for granted our blessings simply because they’re always present and accounted for each day?

The clothes that you wear, the food that you eat, the transportation that you use to get you from points A to E, the air that you breathe, the functioning of your body, the processing of your mind, your laughter and your tears, the joy within—all of these things and so much more that we take for granted. Every day God makes these things possible.

We should be wowed each day. We should be grateful and thanking God each day for these gifts. We did not earn them. We are not entitled to them. It is always and only because of Him.

Be grateful and praise His Holy name. Give thanks today, right now and throughout your day, and each day.

Prayer

Father, thank You for every gift given to me and delivered through me. Thank You for every opportunity presented, every opportunity seized, and every opportunity that results in my ability to bless others.

You are my constant. You are always here. I can always count on You. You are my ever-present source of strength, courage, hope, love, peace, and joy. Thank You Father. Amen.

Love your sister in Christ,

Breaking Bread For 11.22.19

Scripture

raising my voice in thanksgiving and telling about Your wonderful works.

Psalms 26:7 HCSB

Reflection

Stop what you are doing this very second and just give thanks to God for everything you are, everything you’re not, everything you have, and everything He has spared you from.

Now share your blessings with others by being a blessing. Show your thanks. Let us look to the giving of thanks and celebrations noted in the Bible, and from that, give glory and praise to God. Don’t ever be ashamed to celebrate your life in His name. Have a splendid and joy-filled day!

Prayer

Father, thank You for this day, another day of life. Thank You for my family, friends, and associates. Thank You for the stranger who will one day become a friend. Thank You for the opportunities to be a blessing to others, to build upon and share my gifts, and to learn from countless experiences and people. Thank You for my daily bread and for the strength to carry on each day. Thank You for my savior Jesus Christ, the redeemer of all and my path to You. I love You Lord. Amen

Love,

Natasha

Breaking Bread For 11.21.19

Scripture

Be careful that there isn’t this wicked thought in your heart, ‘The seventh year, the year of canceling debts, is near,’ and you are stingy toward your poor brother and give him ⌊nothing⌋. He will cry out to the Lord against you, and you will be guilty.

Deuteronomy 15:9 HCSB

Reflection

Although there is a debt system in place within the U.S. that is to forgive debts by year seven, many debt collectors find creative ways to circumvent this rule, which keeps debtors on the line an additional seven years—a cycle many people can’t seem to free themselves from.

Now let’s switch things up…

Do you forgive personal debts owed to you or do you dwell on what was owed to you? Do you turn into a cyber and street stalker, harassing people for the money they owe you? The Bible says that at year seven we are to squash all debts, forgive our debtors as we would want to be forgiven. Why don’t you strongly consider forgiving debts owed to you in less that seven years? Would it not be in your favor if someone quickly forgave the debt you owed?

Someone close to me always says, “if you are going to loan money then give it freely without expectation of repayment“. This mindset frees you of the weight of wondering if you will be repaid. I also recall a saying that explains our debt and slow repayment cycle, “if you find that people are slow to pay you money, it’s most likely because you are slow to pay people“. Do you pay your bills on time each month, or do you pay late? What you put in the atmosphere is what comes back to you. So when you wait and wait and wait for someone to pay you for work performed, or a loan due, think about the cycle you first started—and most likely continue churning. If it doesn’t feel good being on the receiving end, then begin to change your ways.

Prayer

Father, forgive me of my debts and touch the heart of my debtors, that they too will forgive my debts. I pray that all debts owed to me are forgiven by me, so that no one is burdened. Let the cycle end at the time You command—to never exceed seven years. If you would be merciful to release me from the burden of debts before the seven years, I would be most appreciative. Let there be no bad feelings between myself and debtors and those I am indebted to. In Your name I pray. Amen.

Love,

Natasha

Never Stop Living Your Dream —

Earlier this morning my mom shared these five simple words that form a very powerful message: Never Stop Living Your Dream! Mom said she heard the words in a Gladys Knight song and she thought they would help to serve through my blog. I wasn’t sure which blog she meant, so I figured that I […]

Breaking Bread For 11.20.19

Scripture

You did not go up to the gaps or restore the wall around the house of Israel so that it might stand in battle on the day of the Lord .

Ezekiel 13:5 HCSB

Reflection

When you read the Old Testament, part of you questions why the Israelites kept messing up and repeatedly faced punishment for their sins, and then the other part of you is quickly checked by the reality that in current-day we do the exact same ignorant things. What’s even worse is that we know the Old Testament history, yet we don’t do any better. I’m grateful that God doesn’t get totally frustrated by us and just decide to wipe us out, and start over fresh again. He has the power to do so, but He spares us. That’s love. Could we do the same if given the power? No.

That’s why He keeps molding us.

Prayer

Father, prepare me for today and days ahead; for struggle and strife. Show me how to see opportunities in every situation. Protect me from myself and from those who would harm me through negligence or malice. Forgive me for my pride and disobedience, for my fear and doubt, and for my frustration and conditional faith that creeps in.

Father, let me learn a lesson once without need for repetition. Help me to prepare my home, family, and life for battle. Help me to resist the enemy and see temptation’s lure as nothingness and nothing worthy of giving my attention. In Your name I pray. Amen.

Love,

Breaking Bread for 11.19.19

Scripture

He reveals mysteries from the darkness and brings the deepest darkness into the light.

Job 12:22 HCSB

Reflection

For several days I’ve had the most bizarre and violent dreams that have forced me awake. I woke this morning with an uneasiness, from a dream that couldn’t occur exactly as it played out, but one that rattled me. I know there is something I’m supposed to see, but right now I’m not fully tuned in and aware. The heaviness weighs on me, but I continue to stay in prayer.

Since I was a young child I was told that I possess a gift of extremely heightened intuition and discernment. However, we know what happens when you don’t fully use your gifts. I’m not sure what these recent dreams mean or why I’m having them. I pray that God reveals all in due time.

When you feel a negative energy around or within you, pray that God not only releases you from this energy but reveals His Truth in the process. Don’t let the negative energy distract and consume you. Focus on God and His Love.

Prayer

Father, remove whatever darkness surrounds me, and let Your light shine brightly enough to destroy the error and clear it from my path. Help me to see what is currently a mystery. Let Your Truth be revealed. Push away those who aren’t to be aligned with me. Shut down those who would plot against me. Bless me with discernment and clarity Father. Amen.

Breaking Bread for 11.18.19

Scripture

Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man, But afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel.

Proverbs 20:17

Reflection

We always reap what we sow. Even if the harvest comes later than expected, it’s still coming. So be mindful of the things that you do and say in order to get ahead in life. We all have pitfalls, setbacks, disappointments, and failures; but we can all succeed in life by doing good, living right, and being honest.

We say we trust God, but if that’s the case, why do we worry? If we trust Him, why are we impatient? Why do we attempt to carry the weight and burden of thinking we’re responsible for and equipped to solve and fix every problem that surfaces? We’re the creation yet we don’t look first or even second to our Creator. God told us to turn to, lean on, and remain with Him.

Our lack of trust in Him is because we’re untrustworthy. You can’t give what you do not possess. That is true with and through all things and situations. Faith, hope, discipline, courage, and honor can not be expressed and demonstrated if we don’t have them. It is a daily decision to think, speak, and act in ways that either align us with God, or not. Kingdom principles are achieved through intentionality, not default or coincidence.

As I type these words, I am strongly reminded of these facts. We can fake it with the world, we can lie to ourselves, but there’s no faking and lying to God. There’s no power, presence, or vision that is greater than the wondrous I Am. Kirk Franklin’s song “A God Like You” keeps playing in my mind. Here’s a link to listen for yourself.

I love you all. Have an incredible day and week. Be a blessing to others. Be the example in the world that you want to see.

Prayer

Father, thank You for blessing me. There are times when I desire things that maybe I want but I don’t need, and I am grateful that You keep me in line so that I receive only what I need.

Father I would rather defer my gratification than to receive something that I didn’t earn, especially if I was being deceptive, disingenuous, or inauthentic. Forgive me for past offenses where I gained but did not earn or deserve. Father bless me as You see fit. Mold me into your perfect image and protect me from harm; harm that I may cause myself and harm to and from others.

As I try to do my part to climb out of this valley, please provide me with the tools that I need to not only survive but to thrive. Help me to lean on You and no one or nothing else. Help me to stop thinking that everything rests on me to fix, solve, and make whole. That mindset is what gets me in trouble. My desperation leaves me exposed and vulnerable. Help me Father.

I trust and believe in You Lord, and I apologize for all moments where my faith and hope are not crystal-clear to me and not demonstrated fully to You. In Your name I pray for forgiveness and to be made whole in all areas of my life. Giving You all of the glory, as a I strive to be a faithful follower of Jesus’s teachings. I thank You for Your love. Amen.

Love,

Natasha

Breaking Bread for 11.15.19

Scripture

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

James 2:14-17 NIV

Reflection

I’m breathing through it and so can you. Just breathe and let the molding happen naturally, and if you truly believe then take that step—even though you don’t know where it leads. Do you believe?

You also must step outside of your comfort zone when it comes to helping the least of these God’s children. Good wishes is kind, philanthropy is great, but rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty is better. Don’t give passively, put some energy and sweat behind it.

Prayer

Father, this can’t just be me thinking or speaking of faith; through my actions I must prove it. I know that you’re molding me Father. I feel it and see it.
I will work and do my part. I will also proactively do my part on the ground to help the least of your children. Giving You all of the glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Breaking Bread for 11.14.19

Scripture

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Matthew 7:12

Reflection

The very things that you want in life, the very things you hope to receive in an exchange with your fellow man and woman, and the very way you expect to be treated is how you should be in return. If you want respect give it. If you want to be left with your dignity then leave others with theirs. If you want someone to treat you with grace, be graceful. If you want fairness, be fair.

If you want love then be loving. Be an honest person if you seek honesty from others. Pay your bills on time if you desire to be paid by your employer, client, renter, or debtor on time. If you want people to be on time to meet you, be on time to meet them. If you want faithfulness and loyalty, then be totally faithful and loyal. If you want extra money, then try donating and tithing a portion of what you have.

What you want you will only receive when you first put it out there and do so with consistency. Make sense? Now let’s get out there and create a world of positive reciprocity!

Prayer

Father, thank You for another day of life, freedom, peace, and a chance to make a positive difference in my life, someone else’s life, in my community, and in the world. Father, add an extra layer of strength to me today and these next few days as I face challenges head on that I have been able to avoid for some time, or that never resurfaced until now. Father, touch my heart so that in each circumstance I treat others as I would want to be treated, emulating Your son’s walk through life. In Your name and his I pray. Amen.

Breaking Bread for 11.13.19

Scripture

When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a ruler with discernment and knowledge maintains order.

Proverbs 28:2 NIV

Reflection

In the U.S. we elect officials to help govern this land from a human perspective, to provide a human touch to life’s circumstances that we created generations before and we make worse for generations to come. Yet, we only support these officials in the early days or when our specific needs are met consistently.

We don’t consider the thousands and millions of individuals this official must take into consideration with every decision made, because in our twisted minds he or she should be able to do all things for all people, starting first with us.

We create idols and messiahs, and forget that only God can do all things, be all places, see all things, and has the power to change the impossible to possible. Our lack of commitment and devotion to God clouds our thinking and our understanding of human government, and that man is limited even as a pure reflection of God.

If we want to see change in our neighborhoods, communities, cities, counties, states, regions, countries, and throughout the world we must be the change and bring about the change we want to see.

Prayer

Father, I pray today for my community, my state, my country, and the world. I pray that the pain, chaos, conflict, fear, hate, and rebellion would cease to exist. I know that is a far-fetched request in a land that is so troubled we love our Presidents before we elect them and after they are out of office, but while they serve our country we criticize, ridicule, threaten, and disrespect our worldly leader.

I know this a far-fetched dream in a land where we discard our elderly in facilities where they just wait until they take their last breath. Father, I know this is far-fetched in a land where we have more jails and prisons than high-performing schools; more liquor stores, check-cashing centers, and payday lenders than property owners and business owners.

But I still pray Father. I still have hope. I still have faith in You and Your ability to warm every heart, lift every spirit, heal every wound, cure every disease, make the crooked straight, and bring order to mania. So today just like everyday I pray and believe in a better tomorrow, a better world, with better opportunities—in Your name I pray. Amen.

God bless you all!

Love always,

Natasha

Breaking Bread for 11.12.19

Scripture

Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me.

John 14:1

Reflection

I stand here looking at some of the most beautiful trees I have ever seen, and I’m noticing the changes in color and the multitude of leaves that have fallen to the ground. It is indeed the Fall season, and with this season many different trees understand that their leaves will fall off and they will be exposed, until the Spring time when they return green and ready to provide shade from the heat.

Just as we trust and believe that those trees will regrow new leaves come Spring season, we must learn to trust and believe that God and Jesus will always provide us with the means to make it through any situation, and grow from it, starting anew in a new season of our life. No it won’t be easy, but it’s not impossible. Allow your leaves to fall where they may, and smile, because in your new season new leaves will grow in their place. With those new leaves come wisdom and layers of God’s transformational goodness.

I want you to listen to Kirk Franklin’s song, “Smile”. Every time I do, I can’t help but to smile. Here’s a link to the video to get you moving, grooving, and smiling…

https://youtu.be/Z8SPwT3nQZ8

Those lyrics are so profound yet simplistic, even when you’re afraid, in pain, feel alone, just smile because you know that Jesus and God are right there with you helping you. Each step you take, each hurdle you overcome, each door you push open, each window of opportunity you crawl through…smile, because God made a way out of what you perceived to be “no way”.

I pray that each of you find the peace to let go of your leaves, to embrace the life God has planned for you, and prepare yourself for the new season of growth and development. I pray that you also pray for me, because we all have our ups and downs, and Lord knows I need prayer too. The closer we are on our walk with Jesus, the closer we get to God, the more we are attacked by darkness; and the more we need to pray and be prayed for. So please pray for me. I love you all.

Prayer

Father, there are days when I open my eyes a few times in the morning, each time knowing that I should have risen and started my day; but each time I ignorantly and selfishly craved more sleep. My days are limited, yet I gamble with them like I will be walking in the flesh here for another 100 years.

I apologize Father for my casualness. I know that on those days, I had rested enough and was more than capable of rising and starting my day earlier than normal. From now on I promise to rise when I awake the very first time; whether that be daybreak or earlier, I won’t squander the time.

Father, I won’t and can’t lie to You and say that I’m not troubled, not saddened and frustrated at times-–at myself, at my circumstances, and at the valleys and mountains that I encounter regularly. I realize that change comes with a price, something must go before something new comes in.

I know that I’m going through a change, some things have to go in order for new developments to grow. I have to let go of my fear and trust You and Jesus to show me the way, to protect me, and to lift me up out of those valleys and up and over those steep mountains. I know that every day Jesus walks beside me, some days I lose my focus and start walking off the path You have set for me, yet Jesus lovingly and patiently keeps walking and guiding me back to the right way.

Touch and warm my heart. Calm the pressure in my chest Father. Release the tension in my neck and shoulders. Soothe the cramps throughout my body. Calm my fears Lord. Bring me peace within that I may embrace this change and walk upright, ready for my next adventure—my next demonstration—my next testimony.

In Your name and in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

I pray for all of you, all of us!

Your sister in Christ,

Natasha

Breaking Bread for 11.11.19

Scripture

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

John 15:1-2

Reflection

Without faith, hope and love where are we? What are we? Who are we?

I don’t know about you but I want wealth of wisdom not just from learning through hearing and reading, but also through experience. With that experience comes hurdles, valleys and mountains so tall that you can’t see their tops. It is the adventure of overcoming the odds, not just reading about it (or listening to someone else share their stories) that makes life fuller, richer and more wondrous.

Living life sheltered isn’t living, it’s merely existing. If you don’t accept challenges, challenge yourself, and risk losing and failing, then you haven’t lived. Great discoveries and accomplishments are made by those who dare to chase their dreams, not by those who run away and hide from them.

There’s no cut-off point to getting up and getting out there. There’s no age limit, and adventures aren’t just limited to men and the wealthy. Moses was an old man, Jesus was in his 30s, Solomon was a young man, Ruth and Debra were women. Sarah/Sarai didn’t give birth to a child until she was elderly…at the age of 90!!

There are people starting college, graduating from college, buying homes, and starting businesses in their 60s, 70s, and 80s…what’s stopping you?

Don’t use your children or your circumstances as excuses for not standing up and embracing the opportunities that God has given you to make your dreams your goals, and your goals your accomplishments -–creating a new reality for you!

There are no limits to what we can do. If God has blessed us with gifts and talents, or placed someone in our lives who possess them–-then head towards your adventure and keep going until you cross the finish line. Live your life!

Start today!

Prayer

Father, thank You for today, for the shelter and for the food–-both spiritual and edible. Thank you for the vision to begin to see the path that You set before me. I cannot see long distance, but I can see each step that I take, and what’s before me. I can dream and hope that my dreams align with Your reality and plans for my life.

Father, I am a growing and developing tree. Shed my old leaves and help my new ones to grow strong and bright. Remove from me what is undesirable to You, so that I may be molded into the perfect image as You see fit. Let those around me not steal my fruit but rather seek their own, and wait patiently for You to provide. If my fruit can be of help to them, please guide me in the ways to gift it in Your honor.

Let me also gain patience for the things that I desire. Let me receive what I need and realize that what I want may not always be what I need. I humbly accept whatever portions that You allocate for me, while never having low expectations of You, Jesus or myself. I pray and give thanks to You today and always. Amen.

Love,

Breaking Bread: Sunday Edition 11.10.19

Dear Breaking Bread Family,

I hope that today’s message brings comfort and joy to someone, maybe you. Enjoy this Sunday edition and please share it with others.

Scripture

David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly, saying, “Praise be to you, Lord, the God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.

Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things.

In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.

1 Chronicles 29:10-14

Reflection

Every fruitful idea, every shred of clothing, all of our material possessions, come from God. He blesses us multiple times a day, yet we oftentimes only give Him credit and acknowledge Him when the gifts are unexpected or unexplainable…so we can call them “miracles”.

We don’t always give thanks to Him for the successful deal we closed, project we finished, excellent grades we received, late fees that were waived, payment extensions granted, or for the mechanics and other workers who grant us discounts on services.

We don’t always thank Him for the car, animal, person, or object we avoided hitting, the headache that went away quickly, the calm peace that overtakes us when we’re stressed out, or the money that we find in a pocket or drawer we had forgotten or knew nothing about.

We don’t always thank Him daily for the faithful, loving, and devoted spouse/significant other. We don’t always remember to thank Him daily for our loved ones, for those family members whose eyes look like ours, whose laughs bring a smile to our face, and whose pain is matched with our own. We don’t thank Him for every moment we get to share with them.

We don’t always thank Him for keeping us focused and grounded, and for helping us to overcome and walk right past temptation without hesitation or a double-take. Are we really that busy, that self-absorbed, and self-consumed that we don’t have the humility, the gratitude, and the love to thank our Father for all that He has done, is doing, and will do for and in our lives and the lives of our loved ones?

Are we too lost in our own false-reality that we can’t stop and thank Him for our freedom? We all are free to think with our own minds, even if our bodies are enslaved-– our souls, spirits, and minds can never be shackled by another. We have to willingly and willfully surrender these things.

The first thing we should all do upon opening our eyes each morning is say, “thank You” to our loving Father-Mother God. For without Him we would have no life, and no chance for succeeding, growing, exploring, and demonstrating another day.

Embrace your day. Be grateful for today and be a blessing to others.

Prayer

Father, I woke this morning and thanked You for another day. Some of Your children did not open their eyes to this human experience but rather transported to a spiritual level of existence, that we each will one day venture towards. But while I’m here Lord I want to do my best to serve Your children, especially the least of them, who go overlooked and are taken advantage of oftentimes.

I don’t want to question who needs more or whether someone is pulling a scam on me, I just want to focus my attention on being of service and helping them to develop an even closer relationship with You. The more people I encounter, the more of You I see in their eyes.

Father, I thank You for the clothing, food, water, and shelter You provide for me. I thank You for the money that I receive through my labor, investments, and as gifts. No matter the perceived origin, I know that it all comes from You. I am humbly appreciative of the grace and favor You bestow upon me, even when I am being fearful, doubtful, ornery, or prideful. You truly know my heart Lord, You know what is inside of me, and You know that even in pain I love You dearly and deeply, and that I never want to risk my relationship with You Father.

I want to apologize for my fearful acts that I’ve been committing. I give in to fear just as David listened to Satan, who provoked him to number Israel. Out of fear David caved in and had Joab do exactly what Satan knew You would disapprove of, and reluctantly Joab obeyed. Father that voice in my head was not Yours and I apologize for listening to it and following its direction. Please forgive me Lord for my weakness. In Your Holy name I pray. Amen.

Love,

Natasha

Breaking Bread: Saturday Special

Happy Saturday Breaking Bread Family!

I know that I slacked off a few days this week, and to make up for this, I’m going to post today and tomorrow. I truly hope that the messages shared touches someone’s heart, and helps to create positive change with a lasting impact. Without further delay, here’s today’s message…

Scripture

For a person may labor with wisdom, knowledge and skill, and then they must leave all they own to another who has not toiled for it. This too is meaningless and a great misfortune.
-Ecclesiastes 2:21 NIV

Reflection

What is the purpose of working hard, saving and investing your money, if you will end up leaving it to those who will squander it away carelessly? You must strive each day to become more financially literate and capable of being a wise and loyal steward so that you can educate and empower those who stand to inherit from your hard work and labor.

Our financial dignity weighs heavily on the decisions we make, the advice we take, and our commitment to rebuking low-living thoughts and lifestyles.

We must educate ourselves and then educate others. Our legacy must be more than our names and what’s left of us that is captured in videos, photographs, and other memorabilia.

Is what you are doing today providing a road map and healthy portfolio for your heirs 20,40, 80, or 100 years from now? If not, then make the time to reconfigure your life and your vision for your legacy. If you fail to do so, it may be short-lived or re-written by the foolish decisions made by your unprepared heirs.

Now consider this: we were left a royal inheritance through the bloodline that led to Jesus, and then Jesus left us with an even greater inheritance. How are we stewarding it?

How do we honor his life and his name? What things do we do and say in his name? How are we multiplying our talents? How are we taking care of our minds and bodies?

How are we showing gratitude for the shelter and clothing that keeps us cool on hot days and warm on cold days? How are we managing the finances that we were and are blessed by God to possess?

What do you think Jesus is saying about his legacy and how we are honoring it? We did nothing to receive it. He did all of the hard work. How do we honor him for what he gave us?

We can be good stewards or not, God gives us choices. Just remember what you leave behind and to whom. Will they steward better or worse than you?

Embrace today. It’s a new day to do and say the right things. A fresh start is yours, right now!!!

Prayer

Father, let my hands and mind work diligently to build that which You have envisioned for me, and let it not be in vain— that when my day comes to retire this human form, that the fruits of my labor are left behind for heirs who have not earned it.

Father, prepare me each day to better myself in every way, and when I bear a child prepare me to nurture and educate them so that they too learn to work hard; and that their inheritance from me is well-earned, well-received and well-invested. Let my other family members also be prepared over these long, beautiful days, to be receptive and well-equipped to take on the weight of their inheritance, left by me, in trust, that they too will be good investors and not careless fools.

Father, I thank You now for what You will bless me with in the future. I know You will equip me and prepare me to handle whatever comes my way. I know that You will provide me with the tools to be the best steward that I can be. Thank You Father. I love You. Amen.

Love you all,

Natasha

Scripture

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 14:27

Prayer

Father, thank You for waking me up today. Thank You for the blessings that I have received, even today, and for those that You will still send my way.

Father, I pray for peace within and peace around me. I pray for vision, clarity and the ability to discern what is, what isn’t and what could be. Let me see the potential in every situation that you place before me.

I want the peace to stand strong, that I may overcome fear Father. In You I believe; through You I can do all things, and because of You I am who I am. I humbly declare this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Reflection

God provides peace. Jesus shows you the way. Turn to the light and embrace its warmth. Let the peace fill you until it overflows into the world, to fill those around you.

Enjoy the moments that make up your day. Be the blessing you would like to receive. God bless you all.

Love,

Natasha
