Breaking Bread for 3.17.20

God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble.

Psalms 46:1 HCSB

We are to live in the world but not be of the world. Protect your mind and soul from worldly and dark influences that could lead you astray. Protect yourself from music, movies, images, pictures, symbols, books, and other sources that are not reflections of God.

Listen to the words of songs you sing. Pay close attention to the images and symbols you wear or place in your home. Be cautious of how and where you spend and invest your money. Do your research. Words are powerful. Thoughts are things, as someone I know often says. Our minds are extremely powerful.

Not everyone out there has the best intentions. There are a lot of wolves in sheep clothing. Pray for discernment, and that God always protects you on your journey.

Father protect me. Protect my mind, heart, spirit, and soul. Protect me from attacks of all kinds. Guide me away from situations that could cause me harm. Block negative messaging and influences, and help me to not invest in these things. Strengthen my discernment, to see and know what comes from You versus the enemy. I thank You for being my rock, shelter, and protector. I love You Father. Amen.

Love always,
