Breaking Bread For 4.8.20

Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: Wisdom preserves those who have it.

Ecclesiastes 7:12

A fool with money will always be spiritually broke and eventually financially broke. Pray for wisdom and the ability to discern paths you should take, and people you should form relationships with— as well as those you should avoid.

Pray for blessings to come from the most unusual and unsuspecting places, to remind you that there is no such thing as impossible when it comes to our heavenly Father, and there is no predicting what He can and will do at any given moment. Pray that He always keeps you on your toes in amazement.

Pray that you will have the chance to testify to believers, nonbelievers, and conditional believers about the blessings you have received so that your praise of God is not merely one that you keep in secret. For God’s Kingdom only continues to grow when people believe, trust in and rely on Him more than man, and more than the idols that they worship. Embrace today and be thankful.

Father, I pray for wisdom and the knowledge to have discipline over my finances. I do not want to be a fool and think that I have the solutions to my problems, when they are not of Your command and Word Father.

I also do not want my focus in life to be about building financial wealth; but rather spiritual wealth in which You provide me with the means of financial support and the satisfaction of eliminating my debts, and enabling me to help myself, my family, and others. It is Your money, Your resources, Your knowledge, and Your wisdom. We are Your creations living on Your planet. Help me to be the best steward that I can be.

Show me how to overcome hurdles Lord. Show me how best to serve You and Your children Father. In Your name I pray. Amen.
