Breaking Bread For 6.30.20

Scripture

A certain man of Zorah, named Manoah, from the clan of the Danites, had a wife who was childless, unable to give birth. The angel of the lord appeared to her and said, “You are barren and childless, but you are going to become pregnant and give birth to a son. Now see to it that you drink no wine or other fermented drink and that you do not eat anything unclean. You will become pregnant and have a son whose head is never to be touched by a razor because the boy is to be a Nazirite, dedicated to God from the womb. He will take the lead in delivering Israel from the hands of the Philistines.”

Judges 13:2-5

Reflection

There’s nothing God can’t do for you, through you, and to you. Believe and have faith. Be disciplined as you pray, work, create, and serve.

That barren, childless woman gave birth to a son, Samson, and he did exactly what God’s angel said he would.

Imagine receiving the message she heard. How many of you would be in shock, disbelieve, chalk it up as a twisted thought, or even as a joke of the devil?

How many dreams have chased you for days, months, and years—yet you never pursued them, never prepared yourself to achieve them, never challenged yourself to turn them into goals, so God could guide you to victory?

How many dreams and ideas have you abandoned because they seemed unattainable, impossible, too late to make happen?

Are you listening for God’s voice? Are you paying attention to the angels around you who are trying to guide you?

That faint voice in your head sharing words of encouragement and enlightenment, declarations of a successful future are not your mortal thoughts or imagination, but rather, it’s the work of God— planting and nurturing spiritual seeds, and outlining your road map—all while reminding you who you are and to Whom you belong.

Those negative, defeating, deflating, limiting thoughts are planted and ripened by the enemy. That booger (yep, that’s what I’m calling it today), it works hard to convince you not to be in alignment with God, to not find and see the countless reasons to praise and pray to God. The moment God’s seed touches your spiritual and mental “soil”, the enemy leaps into action. It desperately tries to get you to not take interest in that seed growing and bearing gifts. It delegates tasks to crew members who are assigned to derail your forward progress.

That is why discernment and clarity are key to fully receiving the gifts that God has for you. You have to be able to clearly hear and see the messages being delivered, and have discernment to know which party is sending them to you, so you know when and how to engage.

What I’m learning now is not to ignore the enemy and its gang. Acknowledge their presence and that they are interlopers. The key is to not empower them by entertaining their influential ways. We’re to acknowledge their presence and intent, while also acknowledging that they only have relevance because God makes it possible, and they only have influence if we give in to the temptations and trappings.

It reminds me of a cousin of mine who used to bug me and try to bully me. If I was watching TV she would stand in front of it to block my view. So what would I do? I would look her directly in the eyes, acknowledging her presence and that I knew her feeble attempts, and then I would redirect my eyes to the level of the TV screen and stare at it as though I were still able to see the program. So that was about the level of her waist.

By doing this it enraged her. She kept looking around to see if I could still see the TV, even though she knew she was standing in front of it. The longer she stood there the longer I stared in the direction of the TV, sometimes smiling and laughing in response to the show’s characters. I couldn’t see a thing, but I knew that TV was there. When she turned the TV off, I continued staring in its direction. I knew it was there and I knew I wouldn’t let her annoy me to the point where I would abandon my pursuit of happiness. Eventually my cousin gave up and walked away. I then happily watched my program. I showed the bully that she had no power and dominion over me.

That is what we are to do with the enemy and its gang. Remind them each day that just like us, they are only here because God makes it possible. The enemy does not have equal or greater power than God. But both want your attention and ultimately your soul. You need to know whom you’re dealing with to know how to think, speak, and act.

When God speaks to you, when He uses angels and other people to speak to and connect with you, tune in, stay connected, and tell the enemy and its crew, “I see and hear you, but you aren’t relevant. You won’t block my blessing. Go somewhere else.

God has amazing things planned for you, whether you’re the age of a child or a centenarian. Don’t place limits on God. He’s not placing any on you. That’s the thinking and actions of the enemy—always trying to keep you from goodness and testifying to God’s glory, mercy, and love. Be obedient like Samson’s mother. Even if you question God or His messengers, do so while you follow through with His directives—like the child who asks their parent, “Why do I have to brush my teeth?” as they stand on the stool or bench brushing their teeth. As their teeth are being cleaned they learn the lesson. It’s not defiance or insubordination to ask God questions. That’s called seeking clarity. Defiance is making the choice to not obey. There’s a big difference.

Prayer

Father, thank You for making a way out of no way; for making the impossible possible, the crooked straight, and bringing Light to darkness. Thank You for never giving up on me, no matter how many times I stray from Your path. Thank You for providing me with answers, even if I’m too distracted to hear, see, and discern them. Thank You for loving me flaws and all, and showing me how to love You, myself, and others. You know that I’m still a work in progress in that area and many others. But You love and support me anyway. Thank You.

I love You Lord and I know that You will always make things right in my life even if all that I see is dread and doom. I know that You will deliver me from bad situations or help me to learn the lessons that I was too distracted to discern sooner. I know that You direct my path even when I stray. Like a child that wanders in the store and park, You see me wander in life—but You never leave my side. Thank You Father.

You have shared some big dreams with me. Some excite me to action, others excite me to a state of analysis paralysis, while others have me in such awe that I don’t know what to do or say. Of course, the enemy is plotting. So I ask that You reinforce me with the tools to circumvent the attempts to redirect me. Just as we teach children about stranger danger we teach them to be aware of the intent of those they know. Please strengthen my discernment and clarity to realize and identify that which I know and don’t know, so that I’m not caught up in a trap that only You can free me from.

Help me to listen, know Your voice from others, know Your messengers from the enemy’s, so that I can act in accordance to Your plan. I want to love You beyond words. Through disciplined obedience I demonstrate my fullest and purest of love. I praise You and I pray only to You. Amen.

Love,

Breaking Bread 6 Month Reflection

Happy Tuesday, Breaking Breaders!

Wow, tomorrow begins the month of July. Can you believe that we are half way through 2020?

Looking back over these 6 months, I want you to ponder and reflect over some things:

What have you seen, heard, experienced, and learned?

How have you grown and matured?

Which fears have you faced and overcome? Or been paralyzed by?

Which dreams have been surfacing, crystallizing, shaping and forming, appearing realer and realer as the days go on?

Which dreams do you fear will never come true?

Which goals have been secured by the dreams you once had?

Which goals are you now organizing and pursuing?

Which goals are you afraid to pursue because you fear that you lack something or someone to help you achieve them?

Today’s #breakingbread message speaks to the hope, faith, determination, discipline, discernment, and obedience that it takes to make the impossible possible. Only through God is it possible. Yet, we struggle to try to make things work on our own. Then fear and doubt creep in and tap dance in our minds and on our hearts, and out of exhaustion we abandon those dreams and goals.

Make the time to read today’s message. I will be posting it shortly. God and I have some chatting to do. I think I know where I’m going with the message, but God always guides me in ways I couldn’t imagine. I’m looking forward to the journey. So check your inbox within the hour. See you soon!

Love always,

Natasha

Breaking Bread For 6.29.20

Scripture

You women who are so complacent, rise up and listen to me; you daughters who feel secure, hear what I have to say!

Isaiah 32:9

Reflection

Every day we should have an action plan for doing something different in our lives, for taking the next step towards greatness; and never content with simply getting by. ‘Easy’ should never be our goal and motivation.

Let’s strive for being better than average, since God is no average god. He is the ultimate, all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful, being everywhere and everything to all creatures—God. As His reflection, we cannot walk with lower expectations of ourselves or those who we associate with.

Step up, show up, and show who you really are as a child of our heavenly Father-Mother.

Prayer

Father, I know that You don’t approve of laziness, complacency, and contentment with the status quo of the world. I never want to be satisfied with mediocrity, with doing what others are doing, or being comfortable with someone else taking care of me or making decisions on my behalf. I want to always be standing, moving, thinking, working, and doing my best to live life as You expect of me. Thank You Father for instilling that passion and purpose in my life. I love You. Amen.

Love you all,

Natasha

Breaking Bread for 6.25.20

Scripture

A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

Proverbs 22:1

Reflection

What do you value more in your life— material wealth and possessions, or spiritual wealth and eternal life with our heavenly Father?

Does it matter to you that people think you’re a jerk but hang around you because you have (or will have) fame and riches— and they want to get their hands on some? Or are you more moved by doing good and living well because you gave of yourself when you were least expected to do so?

How much of your time do you volunteer to help others who are least fortunate? I’m not talking about what you do for your job/career to help the underserved and underrepresented in poor communities, I’m talking about what do you do in your free time (and how much time are you freeing up) to go and serve others as God has commanded us?

Even if you are financially ‘poor’ are you also too spiritually bankrupt to help those who have it worse off than you? Can you not give 1 to 2 hours per week or month to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, educate the ignorant, enlighten those with blinders, or empower the powerless? It doesn’t have to be in a structured setting. You don’t need to advertise and promote it. You just have to do it.

The more you do, the more you give of your time and care, the wealthier you become. Wealth starts on the inside.

Yes, even a person who sees themselves as powerless can speak words or perform an act that inspires and empowers others. You can share your food and clothing. It can be something you don’t want or need, or something that you have in excess (now that you assess your circumstances). You can share your knowledge and skills, fix something broken, or solve a problem. None of those things require money, and all of those things will positively impact someone’s life.

Does that make sense?

In and through your little you can give what appears to you to be a little, but to them that receive, they see and feel a lot.

What you do to serve others as God’s servant is what marks you in history books, ours and most importantly, His. You can’t take your financial wealth with you, and it may not survive long after you’re gone, but your name and reputation will last lifetimes. That is true wealth.

Jesus ascended more than 2,000 years ago, Moses died more than 1,000 years before Jesus walked this planet— but look at the weight their legacies still carry in the minds and hearts of millions today. We speak of them as though we personally sat down and broke bread with them.

You shouldn’t think that what you do today won’t create a chain reaction of events, that will impact the distant future. Everything and everyone is related.

So consider these things as you look towards your final walk here: What will people say about you when you’re no longer here? What value will be placed upon your name? What will be etched into your grave’s headstone?

It’s not too late to realign, recommit, or reinforce your daily walk in honor of God.

Prayer

Father, it is more important to me to maintain my self-respect, dignity, and honor, and not disappoint You— than to accumulate money and power that can quickly dissolve, and leave me broke and alone.

Father, I want to make sure I leave this earth with my name in good standing, with the confidence that I did my best to serve the least of Your children, and that I gave my all in everything I did.

Father, I want to live my life as You so instruct and desire. I want to express the qualities that best reflect You and how You see me. When I stray from Your path, please redirect me, so that I can regain focus on Your mission and my purpose in life, and in Your kingdom. In Your name I praise and humbly pray. Amen.

Lovingly,

Natasha

Breaking Bread For 6.24.20

Scripture

And again, “I will put my trust in him.” And again he says, “Here am I, and the children God has given me.” Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

Hebrews 2:13-15

Reflection

We can live in fear and doubt, or walk in strength and courage. We can run scared and hide from the demons that chase us, or face them down and say, “You are nothing, mean nothing, and have no power over me”.

We can say we want to be more like Jesus, or each day we can work and strive to be more like him in thought, action, and deed.

Will the one we choose today be the one we embrace tomorrow?

Amazingly God loves us either way, He still loves us when we waver, when we get scared, and when we run and hide. Lovingly He waits for us as our patient and nurturing Father-Mother. God is awesome. He is good. He is life, truth, love and is the Father of all mankind, and creator of all life. Thank Him today for your blessings, and then go be a blessing to others. I love you all.

Prayer

Father, Your son Jesus was sent by You to show us the way to You, to salvation, to eternal peace, love, joy, and happiness. Jesus is the wayshower to the truth that we are spiritual beings in Your likeness here to have a human experiences to prove that we are worthy of bigger and better responsibilities in Your Kingdom— and that within You there is no such thing as sin, sickness, disease, or death.

This is only one level of existence for us Father and I want to learn my lessons, express Your loving grace, and love Your children as You and Your son have loved me. I want a life where I overcome fear and understand its nothingness, so that I might experience life as You intend. I seek Your guidance through Your son, the angels You send, the people You speak through, and through my daily walk with You. As You speak to me, may I never filter or block You from speaking through me.

I want to forgive to be forgiven, love to be loved, respect to be respected, show grace and mercy to receive them both, and be led so that I may lead. I know that daily You lead, forgive, love, and respect me— and each day You show me grace and mercy, even when I know that I don’t deserve it, or struggle with accepting it. Help me Father to give freely to others what You give freely to me.

I look for Your beacon of light and I promise to follow obediently the path You place before me. Even if I sidestep from time-to-time, I will realign. Humbly I say thank You. I love You. Amen.

Love,

Thank Him. Embrace Him. Believe in Him. Have faith in Him that every issue, problem, desire, and need can and will be fulfilled through and by Him.

Prayer

Father, I want to thank You for my life, my blessings, my gifts, and for the opportunities that You place before me daily. I thank You for allowing me to have a close and personal relationship with You, where I don’t need an intermediary or representative to speak on my behalf. The righteous cry out, and the lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the lord delivers him from them all…

Breaking Bread For 6.12.20

Scripture

I sought the lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 34:4

Reflection

We’re all facing uphill battles this year, this quarter, this month, this week, and today. But are our battles any more difficult than those in the past?

Or are they simply just more battles to overcome at a time when maybe we have less resources than in the past?

Or is it because other people are under a lot of pressure their weight comes down on us more so now, than in the past?

Or maybe it’s a figment of our imagination because we’re afraid.

God is our scale, our measurer, and He carries the weights and determines what we can withstand and what we can’t.

So I’ve come to realize, even in my fears, that when God places a lot on my back and shoulders it’s because He knows I can handle it; He knows I can walk through the valley and up that mountaintop with that weight on my back and reach the finish line of victory.

Yes, it’s scary a great deal of the time. Yes, it can rattle the nerves and cause your body to seize up in pain—but we can make it through. As we work through life’s lessons we are clearing the pathway for others, for our children and generations to come; and we are making ourselves stronger so that each obstacle we approach we gain the courage to tell ourselves, “I’ve got this.”

So let’s do this. Let’s turn to each other in encouragement and push each other on the back, grab each other’s hands, and look into each other’s eyes and say, “We can do this. I can do this. You can do this. We can do this!”

Prayer

Father, throughout my day I pray to You, give thanks for You, and say thank You for my many blessings. I seek You Lord minute by minute to help me to see things through, to help me to find my way, and to realize my purpose in Your Kingdom and on Your land.

Father I am faced with some heavy decisions in my personal and professional life; I am faced with financial burdens and haunted by my past decisions, and by current unknowns. I’ve got more month than money, bills to pay, and although I know there is a solution to my problem, I’m blinded by fear.

Father I have to make decisions about who to trust, who to associate with, and who to walk away from. I’m scared Father. I’m scared that I will make the wrong decisions. I am afraid to disappoint You.

Lord, deliver me from all of my fears. Calm my nerves so that I worry no more as I put my trust and faith in You.

You are my rock, Father. You are my light and salvation. With You nothing but good can come to me or go from me and that’s all that I need to know. I love You Father. Amen.

I love you all,

Breaking Bread For 6.10.20

Scripture

I love you, lord, my strength.

Psalm 18:1

Reflection

God loves you. He is the strength that you call on each day. Life throws a lot at us and at times it can be overwhelming and spiritually paralyzing.

The enemy and its crew despises you. They will stop at nothing to get you to delay, derail, dismantle, and destroy your life. They feed off of discouraging, distracting, and misdirecting you.

You must be vigilant!

We have to stop in our tracks when we feel anxiety building up and the need to think, over think, react, then overreact takes over—until we’re out of control. We have to listen for God’s voice and ignore our own. We have to listen to Him as He whispers in our ear. Listen and follow Him, not the enemy.

God’s voice isn’t manipulative and He never leads us astray. We have to learn to discern His voice from the enemy’s. We have to learn to discern His encouragement and direction towards the light versus the enemy’s voice who will always try to lead you toward pain and darkness, masked as pleasure and light.

God would never encourage or be supportive of you telling lies, stealing, cheating, or manipulating others—but the enemy would. The enemy encourages self-serving, self-centered, and selfish acts. While God recenters us on living selflessly.

When you feel yourself about to do or say something that you know is wrong, is not Christlike, and isn’t something you would suggest someone else to do— if the two of you were sitting in front of Jesus— stop and pray for God’s guidance and heavenly touch to see you through the situation.

I have my ups and downs. It’s a struggle, especially when I listen more to the enemy who tells me what I lack, rather than listen to God who constantly shows me my blessings and the abundance that I possess. I’m working on me as God molds me second by second each day. One day we’ll be fully aligned and impenetrable, and oh what a sight that will be!

Prayer

Father, I love You. I need You. I need to surrender to You. Father I need Your help to overcome fear, to conquer my insecurities, to squeeze out any envy or jealousy that bubbles beneath the surface— and any resentment, frustration and anger that is waiting to unleash itself on others.

Father, free me from this negativity and darkness. Blanket me in Your peace, love and joy so that a calmness fills me. Keep my eyes, mind and heart on You Lord so that I can stop losing focus looking elsewhere. In Your name I praise and I pray. Amen.

Love you all,

Scripture

“You, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build a house for him. So your servant has found courage to pray to you. You, Lord , are God! You have promised these good things to your servant. Now you have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, lord, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever.”

1 Chronicles 17:25-27

Reflection

God proves Himself to us daily. We must show our commitment to Him; beginning first, through prayer to Him every single day— throughout each day. Gain the courage and discipline to commit to Him, to trust in Him, and to believe that success is not possible without Him. He will always provide a home and a way for us.

Prayer

Father, You show me consistently how You are here for me, blessing me, and taking care of my needs. Your commitment and devotion to me gives me the courage and faith to believe in the impossible and unimaginable. I thank You now for blessing me with a home filled with love and joy. I thank You now for blessing me and protecting me all the days of my life. Thank You Father. Amen.

Scripture

Honest scales and balances belong to the lord; all the weights in the bag are of his making.

Proverbs 16:11

Reflection

Sometimes we add more pressure, more responsibility, more drama, more headaches and heartbreaks upon ourselves because we want to control or fix something— but then turn to God as though it was His doing, or somehow out of our control. We then are consumed with our stress and forget that God is always our solution. If we want peace, balance, clarity, and more positive energy— we must turn to and release ourselves fully to God.

Prayer

Father, I pray to see that only through You and by You can I find balance in my life. You control the scales, and You make a way out of no way. If I want peace, it must come from my reliance upon and devotion to You. I want to release my cares to You Lord. I want to be freed from my burdens that I subject myself to, and freed from the weight that I place on my shoulders. Let me carry what You place on me, what You say is acceptable, and what helps me to carry out my responsibilities as Your ambassador. Everything else that I keep carrying around and depressing myself with, I ask that You prioritize, rearrange, or take away. Let me only focus on what I’m supposed to, not on the distractions that prevent me from being all that You have called on me to be. In Your name I praise and pray. Amen.

Breaking Bread For 6.5.20

Scripture

Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?

The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others; who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind; who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.

Psalm 15:1-5

Reflection

Although I have done and continue to do good in my life, lend money without interest or demand of repayment, never accepted a bribe, have kept most of my oaths, and try to always speak the truth from my heart—I have done my share of sinning and gossiping. And I’m sure in some of that gossip was slander and slurring, since I don’t always take the time to confirm a story to be 100% factual before I repeat it to a family member or friend. I just repeat what I heard or read. That’s irresponsible on my part. I’m more mindful of this responsibility while using social media and in my professional life. So why do I become so relaxed with my standards in my casual conversations? I shouldn’t.

Yes indeed, I’m definitely a work in progress. I definitely have a long way to go before I can say I’m guiltless of wrongdoing of any kind. But here’s the thing, each day I work on improving myself and ridding my life of the negativity that had grown comfortable in my space. Each day I pray for strength, courage, discernment, clarity, grace, and guidance through all things and circumstances, and with all people.

Throughout our days we should be praying to and praising God. We should not limit our praise and worship to Sunday and mid-week services, at meals, at bed time, and when we wake up each day. There’s a lot of time between those events. That’s a lot of space and time for the enemy to step in and manipulate things. If you get blindsided, it’s because you weren’t aware of your surroundings.

And that’s just speaking to those of who follow that pattern of prayer and worship behavior/schedule.

Some of you may forget to say thank you when your eyes open each day, and only pray at night that you might wake the next day; and for some, mid-week services may be a nonexistent occurrence in your life, and Sunday service is reserved for holidays, special occasions, and those moments of overwhelming guilt. Some of you may be praying over your meals with a one-sided hope that the food will cause you no harm, rather than giving thanks for having the opportunity to partake in that meal.

So I call on all of you to pray and praise throughout your day. There’s not a minute that God isn’t thinking about and speaking to you. The same is true of the enemy. That booger never rests. The enemy is always meddling and working diligently to sway you from God. Don’t get “caught slippin'” as the saying goes.

Be grateful for all blessings, small and large. Ask God for guidance through all tasks no matter how great or insignificant. Thank Him for helping you get through a tough time, or a moment when you were about to curse and instead chose a more intelligent word to express your feelings. Thank Him for helping you to get to work, an appointment, your home, or a gathering on time and safely. Thank Him for each person you meet each day, and each person who smiled at you. Thank Him for the grace that keeps you from reacting negatively when someone is rude or mean to you. Thank Him for the courage not to give up when life beats down on you. Thank Him for the strength as you rise back up.

It doesn’t have to be a long, drawn out prayer or praise session. It can be as simple as saying the words, “Thank You Father!” because He knows what you are thinking about and referring to in that instance. Just smile and give thanks. Can you do that?

Try it, starting today and let me know how it feels, felt, and how your day turns out. Remember that our days should begin, end, and be filled with thoughts and practices reflecting God.

Prayer

Father I have a long way to go before I’m blameless and can stand upright in righteousness. I have a long way to go before I can say that I never do wrong. I’m not at that point where I can keep an oath even when it hurts—and never change my mind. But You know my heart and You know that each day I’m trying to do my best and be my best. Each day I try to purge out those impurities within me so that I can be open and filled with only Your goodness. I don’t want to be shaken Father. I don’t want to be rocked and thrown off course. Let Your light continue to guide me where I need to be always. I will tighten my hand around Yours for stability, reassurance, and protection. In Your name I praise and I pray. Amen.

Love always,

Natasha

Sunday school numbers are shrinking rapidly in many churches. More kids know less about the Lord, His servants, and His expectations for all of us, and it is our fault.

We are ashamed when they don’t know their state, country, world, and cultural history—but how many of you are appalled and frightened to know that many of these children know little to nothing about the Bible, God, Jesus, the Old Testament, the New Testament, and their role as servant ambassadors for Christ? They know about evil, but they truly don’t know it, nor do they know how to address and combat it. That leaves them exposed to be succumbed or victimized by it.

If you aren’t reading, studying, and discussing the Word with them, they will not be encouraged or inclined to do the same at church, with their peers, and independently. They won’t know how to use the tools and resources to be better equipped and strengthened before, during, and after adversity.

It is our responsibility to expose children to the Bible, teach them how to study and research it, and show them how to find the answers that they seek. Learning starts first in the womb, then the home, and then a multitude of places outside of the home.

It is also our responsibility to teach them about other religions and social norms (such as sexual orientation and preferences) so that they can honorably and with dignity, acknowledge and respect other beliefs that differ their own.

They are not to fear, hate, discriminate, or pass judgment on others who have different religious or social beliefs. They are to embrace other people as God’s children and know that just as God loves us He loves them, and it is no humans place or right to judge another and impose their beliefs onto others, for there is only one judge and omnipotent power—and that is our Heavenly Father-Mother God.

You are not to teach to children through word or action indifference, intolerance, superiority, hate, fear, loathing, or any other negative trait. Children are born angelic and pure, and only through repeat exposure to adults do they transform into our smaller replicas that eventually embrace sin.

Racists, sexists, homophobes, and xenophobes are not born they are made. They are indoctrinated into a way of thinking and behaving, based on a perversion of religion and culture.

Do your part to teach love, peace, tolerance, acceptance, humility, dignity, respect, integrity, strength and courage.

We were all born with the right to live a dignified life. Do your part to instill this in your children, so that they never have to question if they are doing right in God’s eyes. Because if they are hurting others, they aren’t doing right in God’s eyes. And there’s no amount of rationalization that will make it right.

Prayer

Father, thank You for Your constant molding through love. Thank You for waking me today. Father, as I learn Your Word and share it with other adults, let me always remember to share and teach it to Your youngest of children, the generations that follow me. May I learn from them as they learn from me.

Let me not keep this wisdom to myself, but rather open my heart, mind, and mouth and share with the masses. I promise to serve You and do my part to grow Your Kingdom. I love You Father. Amen.

Lovingly,

Natasha

Breaking Bread For 6.2.20

Scripture

Rise up; this matter is in your hands. We will support you, so take courage and do it.”

Ezra 10:4

Reflection

God never gives us more than we can handle. It’s easier said than it is to realize and accept at times. What is placed before us we can either stand up and take care of or we can run and hide from in fear. No matter what it will be there until we do it, resolve it, fix it, get rid of it, compartmentalize it, or adjust for it.

What is before you, you can handle— it’s in your hands and you do have support— first starting with God, and then, the people and resources that He puts before you.

If you look around and see little to no one beside you that is positive, loving, encouraging, and supportive then you need to re-align yourself with the right type of people. Who you surround yourself with clearly reflects who you are as a person, or who you think you are, and what you offer to the world in exchange. You produce the fruit of the seed that is planted, watered, and fed—and that fruit is made up of whatever it drinks and eats. All of that then comes out of you. Rotten or rewarding. Be mindful of that.

Prayer

Father, I pray for the courage, wisdom, and discipline to do what I’m supposed to; to focus on checking off the items on my to-do list; to pushing past my fears; to achieving my goals; to seeing people for who they are and not who I think they are or want them to be; and to stand up and take those steps to living the life You intend for me.

Father give me the strength to breathe with mindfulness through my circumstances, serve and live fully, and with intentionality. Amen.

Lovingly yours,

Natasha
