Breaking Bread For 9.10.20

Scripture

To him belong strength and insight; both deceived and deceiver are his.
Job 12:16

Reflection

God is working on you and those who would (and are) deceiving you. God made both of you. God allows the enemy, called satan, to exist and run amuck, so that we have the choice between good and evil, right and wrong.

So pray for the strength and courage to walk away and not give in to someone’s lure of darkness. Instead seek God for comfort, insight, protection, and guidance. God will never mislead you or forsake you.

Prayer

Father I pray for strength, courage, discipline, protection, vision, and discernment. Help me to overcome obstacles and to push through my mental block of fear so that I might stand with You in victory. Father, guide me away from those who would mislead and deceive me. Take my hand and lead me away from those would cause me harm. I know that You are working on them so that they may see and do right. Show me best how to handle my situation Lord, so that I may act in honor of You, and in accordance to Your ways.

In Your name I humbly pray and excitedly praise. Amen.
