Breaking Bread For 2.1.21

When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do.

Romans 4:18

Let us focus on what God tells us and shows us, not what the enemy tries to convince us. Focus on the Spirit and not the flesh. Be led by the Spirit not the flesh. We can overcome all things through God. He keeps His promises, He sticks to His plans, and He never leaves us. If we turn inward and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us, we can see, hear, and experience more than we ever imagined. The flesh limits us. But we’re too ignorant to realize this. We don’t see it as a tent, like Abraham’s tent that he picked up and moved over and over again, until he no longer needed that tent—and transitioned to the life he was promoted to live, as an unrestricted spiritual being. At some point, we will relinquish this tent of flesh, this temporary home we have resided in, and take up our life in our true home.

If you believe this, say “Amen” which beautifully and boldly means, “so be it” in Hebrew.

Father, I want to believe regardless of what is going on in my life. I want to trust and have faith in You without question, doubt, or hesitancy. I want to trust in You against all odds. I want to grab ahold of my fears and slap them into submission. I’m telling the enemy to get behind me and all demons can sit down in silence. I want to remove “can’t” and “impossible” from my vocabulary and from my thinking, because there is nothing that can stand in Your way. There is nothing that You are blocked from doing. You are All in All, and You have made me promises that I know You will deliver. So I will walk wherever You tell me and do whatever You say, because you are Jehovah Jireh, and you see to it.  Fill me Father. I am a willing vessel. In Jesus’ name I praise You and pray to You. Amen.
