Jesus was committed to doing his part, completing his assignment, fulfilling the prophecies His Father shared hundreds and thousands of years before Jesus was called to serve as a teacher. Jesus told his disciples everything that would need to happen and what would happen, and just as he said, three days after his lifeless body had been placed in Joseph of Arimathea’s tomb, Jesus had resurrected and wasn’t there. He proved what he and others had said about the mind, body, and spirit. He proved that limits are only acknowledged by man. There are no limits with God. That is not His reality.
Father, Your son was tortured and crucified on the cross and he surrendered to this treatment to fulfill prophecy and to demonstrate Your truth, that we are never separate from You in the flesh. He subjected himself to the process to prove to the naysayers that He was not only the wayshower, the Messiah, and Your son—but also that through him all people could find peace from and in Your Kingdom. If his healings did not prove Your power, grace and mercy then rising from the grave should have. He resurrected and later ascended by Your power to prove that there is no such thing as death in Your reality, but instead we move on to another level of existence.
Father, everything I have experienced in my short life has shown me that through thick and thin, through heartaches and heartbreaks, through sickness and health, and through moments where I’ve gone through having more money than month to more month than money—You have been my constant source of Light, seeing me through each day. Thank you Father. In Your Name and Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
