Breaking Bread For 9.14.21

Scripture

“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Mark 11:22-25 NIV

Reflection

While you’re busy thinking about the worst possible outcomes, fear’s blocking you from seeing the best. Let faith guide you!

What’s the worst possible thing that could happen if we started believing, embracing and having total faith in God?

What’s the best possible outcome?

What’s the worst possible thing that could happen if we let go and let God?

What’s the best that could happen to us?

What’s the worst possible thing that could happen if we stared fear down to the nothingness it is?

Now consider the best outcome.

Wanna give it a try?

Prayer

Father, I know that I sometimes speak “big talk” and then let fear grab ahold of me. I don’t want to be fearful. I want to see past obstacles and understand the lie of fear, so that I’m never phased by it. I want to walk with Your peace in my heart and life. I’m here Father.

Lovingly,

Natasha
