Scripture
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9
Reflection
Every item of clothing, every award, paycheck, commission, piece of furniture, vehicle, appliance and accessory—was not earned by us—but rather given to us by God. Made possible because He allowed it. All of these things are energy, molded and manifested as objects that we have assigned value. But Who is the Creator of that energy? God. The one and only EH-HEH-YEY (I AM). So yes, you possess that energy within you, but you are not the Source. You can tap into it but you cannot make it. Stop taking His credit.
You are of Him but you are not Him.
Elohim equips us with the knowledge and wisdom to do our small part. Being equipped is a blessing from Him. The pulling of strings to make things happen on our behalf is His favor, no coincidences, just God showing up and hoping that you will see, recognize, and acknowledge it.
The child you birthed or adopted is God’s gift to you; He’s trusting that you will care, nurture, protect, and guide that child through His guidance, protection, nurturing, and care.
The positive change in your health and medical history, is His loving grace, and a reminder that man’s ways has limits but God doesn’t. The accident you avoided, the one that left you uninjured, or the one you recovered from—all are instances of God’s grace, His intervention. Think of how that incident changed you and what good can come from it, that you can reinvest into the world.
The deal you closed or the promotion you received, were triggered by God. How will you steward this blessing? How will you pay it forward?
Getting out of debt, purchasing your car or home—that’s God keeping His promises. Be sure to keep yours!
The ability to love and be loved—yep, that’s all because of God. He is love, so when you tap in and share, you receive it and so do others.
It is His grace not our actions or talents that bless us. Our talents are refined by Him. Our actions are either in agreement with Him, or not. When we are aligned we receive. Remember that and thank Him! And even those people who don’t believe in Him, He still blesses and uses them for His plan, and whether they give Him the credit or not, someone down the road, who was blessed by the chain reaction, most definitely will. Won’t God do it!!!
Now that we’re clear on that let’s get clear on focusing on our responsibilities to Him, to these bodies we are blessed to possess, the families we have been born into or adopted by, and the lives we are to lead.
Prayer
Father, thank You for this day, days past, and for every day that my future holds. Thank You for the gifts You have granted me, and for the blessings that only You can provide. I understand that it is not my doing but Yours, through grace, that I possess and have experienced all that I have.
Each day I work to pull away my layers of fear, anger, bitterness, and pain so that I might replace them with layers of belief, trust, confidence, and faith in You, our relationship, and our mission.
I’m grateful for Your patience. I’m grateful for each molding lesson that You are teaching me. Show me the way and I will follow. To You I give all glory forever. Amen.
Love,
Natasha
