He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.

Matthew 28:6

Jesus was committed to doing his part, completing his assignment, fulfilling the prophecies His Father shared hundreds and thousands of years before Jesus was called to serve as a teacher. Jesus told his disciples everything that would need to happen and what would happen, and just as he said, three days after his lifeless body had been placed in Joseph of Arimathea’s tomb, Jesus had resurrected and wasn’t there. He proved what he and others had said about the mind, body, and spirit. He proved that limits are only acknowledged by man. There are no limits with God. That is not His reality.

Jesus never doubted God’s way, promise, protection, or presence. It’s not that he didn’t doubt himself and didn’t fear the unknowns he was facing, but he never doubted God, and his faith is what overruled his fear. He is our best example of how to live obediently, fully embracing the peace of who and what we are, and to Whom we belong. Yes, just like Jesus we will have moments of fear, stress, and anxiety; but just like Jesus, when we remember to turn inward towards God’s embrace, those things we’re concerned about will become irrelevant.

You may be experiencing a rough time in your personal and/or professional life; breathe and know that just like yesterday and yesteryear God will see you through to the next day. Tomorrow won’t be your today because there is always something different that will happen to make this so. Be grateful for the blessing to rise and experience each day brand new. Be grateful that you can leave your old self and old ways behind and embrace a newness in thinking, living, and being.

Live your life in a way that when people who know you go to see you as your old self, you aren’t there. Allow yourself to be transformed. And never ever forget, there are no limits when God is in it!

Father, Your son was tortured and crucified on the cross and he surrendered to this treatment to fulfill prophecy and to demonstrate Your truth— that we are never separate from You in the flesh or in the spirit. He subjected himself to the process to prove to the naysayers that He was not only the wayshower, the Messiah, and Your son— but also that through him all people could find peace from and in Your Kingdom. If his healings did not prove Your power, grace and mercy then rising from the grave should have. He resurrected and later ascended by Your power to prove that there is no such thing as death in Your reality, but instead we move on to another level of existence.

Father, everything I have experienced in my short life has shown me that through thick and thin, through heartaches and heartbreaks, through sickness and health, and through moments where I’ve gone through having more money than month to more month than money—You have been my constant source of Light and provision, seeing me through each day. Thank you Father. In Your Name and Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

I love you all!
