Reflection
We all have dreams, goals, and aspirations in life. Do you believe that one day you will get what you need and desire most? Do you believe that God will always provide for you? Then, when times get tough, as they most likely will, why do we throw our hands up and declare defeat?
What is faith but believing strongly in the possibility of God doing what is impossible for us to achieve? Is faith not also our solemn promise to stick it out through the tough times? Is faith not our declaration that we’re gonna ride with God no matter what?
Faith is the action behind our declaration. Let’s believe and live accordingly!
Prayer
Father, thank You for another day. Thank You for protecting me through the night as I slept. Thank You for Your favor. Lord, I ask that You continue to strengthen me. Cover me with Your peace and loving warmth. Steady my footing when times get rough.
Keep my vision sharp and clear, that I might always see my goals and remain focused on reaching them. As my faith increases each day, let Your words of encouragement penetrate and destroy any encroaching fear. In Your Name and Jesus’ Name I humbly pray. Amen.
