Special Note

Today’s message is an excerpt from Day 187 in my book, Seek Him, Volume 2: Going Beyond Your Spiritual Comfort Zone. The theme of the message is “Absolution.” You can acquire this book, the companion workbook, and the other books that make up the Seek Him series by searching for their titles online and at local retailers.

Scripture

“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”

Isaiah 1:18

Reflection

We may obsess over our sins and worry whether or not God has or will ever forgive us. God has always said that if we repent, ask for forgiveness, and not repeat the sin, then we are not only forgiven, but He moves on as though we never disappointed Him. There are things that we struggle to forgive ourselves for. Let go. God did. You keep holding on to something that has been reconciled by Him. Let go. If you still haven’t forgiven someone for hurting you, pray for the strength and courage to forgive, and then let it go so that your healing can begin. The peace that will ultimately enshroud you will be your reassurance that all is well. Let go!

Prayer

Father, heal me, protect me, and forgive me for my wrongdoings. Help me to let go, forgive, and accept forgiveness. In Jesus’ Name, I humbly pray. Amen.

And with that family, I pray that you are blessed, that you see and embrace your blessings, and that you are a blessing to others.

I love you!
