Scripture

However, each one must live his life in the situation the Lord assigned when God called him. This is what I command in all the churches.

1 Corinthians 7:17

Reflection

If you don’t know what you have been called to do then you need to seek out the ways and opportunities that God has set for you to serve. Ask God for clarity and discernment. Seek His direction and counsel throughout your life’s journey, each moment of the day. If you do know what your calling is, then you need to use your talents and skills fully, and be sure to give thanks each day for what God has given you. Give Him credit for all that you are and all that you have.

Grow where you are planted versus constantly trying to uproot yourself to find better. Grow as you were designed versus trying to be something and someone you aren’t. Stop comparing yourself to others and thinking God made a mistake or that you made a mistake and are being punished. Stop carrying around and splashing on other people the toxins of shame and guilt, as neither are from God, so they shouldn’t be a part of you. Release that mess before it consumes you!

Do whatever it is that God has called you to do, and do it with passion, gratitude, and dedication.

Prayer

Father, You have called me to serve and to properly use the talents that You have blessed me with. I want an intimate relationship with You built on love, truth, trust, and reciprocity. I don’t want to disappoint You and I don’t want to disappoint myself, so each day I will work to use my talents fully, express my gratefulness, and reflect Your Love and Light—no matter my circumstances. Thank You Father for the opportunity to serve and be of service to You. Glorifying You is what I seek to do with every breath that I take. I love You. Thank You for loving me. Amen.

Love,

Natasha
