This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
1 John 5:14-15 NIV
Father there is nothing that I need that You have not provided for me. Thank You. I’m confident that when I come to You in prayer, that if I need it, You will make it possible for me to have it. I thank You in advance for the blessings that I have yet to receive. Amen.
My husband often shares the quote, “if you’re going to pray then why worry, and if you’re going to worry then why pray”.
This is so true.
Once you say your prayer to God, there isn’t a need to keep repeating that prayer several times a day or every week—God doesn’t have memory loss issues; God doesn’t get so bogged down with prayer requests that He forgets which of His children asked for what, and when. If we truly believe that we should, “let go and let God”, then why don’t we say our prayer, let go, and let God do what only He can do? Do we truly believe?
Do you have confidence in your approach to God?
