Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 3.27.13

For you know that you were redeemed from your empty way of life inherited from the fathers, not with perishable things like silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.

1 Peter 1:18,19 HCSB

Father may I always remember Who’s child I am, the sacrifices made before me and for me, and my purpose here on Earth. Let this not serve as a burden, but even if it feels heavy, let me feel pride and honor in carrying the weight. Amen.

Never forget who you are, Whom you belong to, and that none of this is about you—but about God and making sure that His Kingdom reigns inside of each of us. All that you have is not by your will but His. You may be self-made by human standards, but by spiritual standards you are God-made. Your successes, your material possessions, the positive people in your life—all are gifts from God. It is His will and grace that makes things happen for you each millisecond of the day. Never ever ever forget this. Praise Him for all that you have, all that you are, and all that you will become.

Enjoy your Wednesday family. Sending love from the Bahamas!
